In the US for almost 10 years since graduate school, working at a MNC for over 2 years. 221g slip given asking for resume, current and past research / work description, financial U.S. sponsor, and invitation letter from employer Case Created: Feb 03. Case Updated: AP Feb 04. Case Updated: Refused Feb 04. This is likely due to system update on Mar 03. Case Updated: Mar 10. Received email to submit passport. CEAC status refused. Passport submitted on Mar 11. Same status. Got Issued on Mar 17. Thanks all for updates. Best wishes

I'm US citizen. I applied For my wife C1/R1 visa. I applied in December 23rd 2018. Waited more than year. And then on the interview they gave her a white slip 221(g). And asked for my previous marriage original divorce certificate. I send it to her by FedEx. She drooped it off at the embassy on February 22nd. On March 3rd the status changed to refused she didn't receive any calls or email. We were in panic until we found out there was a change in Ceac terminology. Still showing refused.

VO gave 221g white slip. Asked paystubs from 6 months prior.

Taken Vendor letter and email from client saying the they wont give client letters. Case created : Feb 25th 2020 Last updated : Feb 27th 2020 3rd March 2020 - CEAC status changed to Refused 4th Match 2020 - Prime vendor responded to dhs email about employment verification(not sure when did they received the email from dhs) 10th March 2020 - Got the email from HydAdmin to submit the passport 11th March 2020 - Passport submitted. Ustravel docs update: Your passport is being delivered to post 12th March 2020 - CEAC case last updated date changed to 12th. CGI status passport with embassy 16th March 2020 - CEAC case last updated date changed to 16th. Moved to Admin Processing from Refused 17th March 2020 - CEAC - Issued 18th March 2020 - Passport pick up 20th March 2020 - Took etihad flight to US. Will reach in few more hours. Just done with immi in Abu Dhabi. What a tensed trip this is, ticket postponed 1 time and preponed 1 time, and from 22nd they are cancelling all flights it seems

Second H1 B stamping with approved I-140. Also also got the same blue slip during my first stamping. FTE for 5 years with large MNC Visa date: Jan 7 2020 (Tue) Document submitted: Jan 11 2020 (Sat) [ Invitation letter, resume, publications, travel history, funding] No updates as of March 20 2020 I also had a senator inquire on my behalf. But she got the standard response from them. ---- Details of the interview (rough transcript) Officer: how long you been working for XX (one of the FAANGs)? Me: almost 5 years Officer: what do you do for XX? Me: I design, write, test and debug software components Officer: what is your salary? Me: my base is $XX (works on the computer for couple of seconds) Officer: is this you only passport? Me: yes (office walk back into the office to consult with someone) Officer: looks you went through administrative processing last time but we need some additional documents (hands me the attached 221g slip) Me: okay

Second H1b Stamping Interview Date: 02Mar2020, Questions- asked if H1b stamping is first time or extension, Employer name, employer City, designation, salary, highest education Passport taken during the interview. Small White slip without any case number given. Requested documents on 3Mar2020, LCA, Employment Letter and Paystubs (3 months), Submitted documents on 04Mar2020. Case Last updated: 02Mar2020- Refused. 10Mar2020: Case status remains same, and requested to collect back passport. Collected back passport on 12Mar2020, a white sheet with case number which has administrative processing box ticked and no documents asked. Case status remains Refused 16Mar2020: Email received your submit passport 17Mar2020: Submitted passport at VFC 18Mar2020: Case status changed from Refused to Administrative Processing 19Mar2020: Case status changed to Issued, Received email to collect passport 20Mar2020: Passport collected. I am a FTE software engineer working in the avionics industry. I had a regular interview and the VO asked me the usual questions. After asking me for my job description the interview slowed down. The VO was looking into her computer for 3-5 mins and then handed me the 221g blue slip with request to email additional documents. (resume, travel history, publications, job descriptions, invitation letter etc) The invitation letter part was confusing since I am a FTE. I believe "avionics" is on the list of TAL(technology alert list), which might have triggered a case for 221g, but this is just a guess. As of 03/17 I haven't heard back from them yet.

We are living in US from the past 13 years. My Husband came to India for family emergency and he went to stamping on feb 13 in Chennai India. Interview went very well and they ask my husband project description and he gave it to them and they handed over 221g blue form and they said they need to look into and it will take time. In the form they check marked as "Your application is refused for administrative processing. The application will be reconsidered when application process is completed". Till today we didn't receive any update. They didn't ask me any documents either. I am so confused and worried. Is anyone had same problem.

H1B 221g Passport not collected, refused to admin processing I had my interview, Chennai consulate, and my passport was returned to me with a 221g with only a box checked by the officer that says my application was refused for admin processing. Not sure if this happens with the most or retaining the passport with me is a good/bad sign as compared to with the officer that happens in most cases. 03/10/20: Had an email inquiry about my employment and project details from KCCFPU(Kentucky Consular centre and Fraud Protection Unit) to my client manager. Had asked a bunch of questions (10) My manager was prompt to see and reply The inquiry requested answers to be submitted within 2 weeks to avoid any further processing delays Passport requested on 03.13

Hi Can you help me on the status of my Li Visa. I had submitted my documents as per 221g on 26 Jan via email.
