221(G) Tracker

Hi, I received 221g white slip with status as refused for administrative process. Later my client is approached for verification of couple of things which they have replied on March 26th. They received email from [email protected]. Does this mean case is pushed back to USCIS and I need to wait for long to hear from them. When I searched for that email it says Kentucky fraud protection unit. Or is this common that everyone receives email from them during administrative process. Any inputs will help.

Feb 1: Attended visa interview. Visa officer collected my passport and passed me 221g white form with no checkboxes checked Feb 3: Received email to collect the passport. Ceac case status refused. Feb 4: Collected passport which included yellow form with first 4 checkboxes checked on the back side Feb 9: Emailed all the documents to mumbai consulate Feb 18: Ceac case last updated date changed to 18-Feb-2021 but still the status remained Refused

Interview date: 18th Feb 2021 My passport was given back and i received 221g white slip to submit documents electronically. Got a call from the consulate on the same day to submit my documents electronically. Sent documents to the email (i was instructed to send the doc's to [email protected]) on Feb 20th. Got another call from the consulate to confirm my work location on LCA. Case last updated date changed from Feb 18 to March 5th. Though the case's last updated date changed, neither my employer nor my vendor/client were contacted. I called customer service a few times and found nothing so i tried to research online what that email id(the one which i was instructed to send my documents to) is associated with, turns out to be the hyderabad consulate's fraud prevention unit. I'm not sure why my case is being handled by FPU and how long to wait for them to complete my application process. Has anyone been in this situation?

F1 to H1b, Apart from Standard questions that were asked, I was asked if I was ever out of status. (answered "NO") Consular said needs to some processing from their end and stamped my F1 as "Canceled without prejudice" & issued 221g. 221g had an invitation letter, resume etc. to be emailed to the consulate. Doc submission delayed as my attorney was out of office for a couple of days. f1 2016 - 2018(graduated) FTE after graduating. the same employer sponsored H1. 2019(COS Oct 2019 to H1b) until date. Current CEAC status shows refused. Pre update was on 19 Feb 2020. I was laid off while consulate had closed down, Haven't yet found a job to make my H1 transfer. received update to submit passport on 1st Feb. passport was returned with White slip to attend for an interview on March 18th. what do i do? Anybody out there in a similar situation?

Me and my wife gave interview for J1 and J2 visas respectively on December 30th, 2020 at new Delhi Embassy. At the interview, we were given 221(g) slip and the visa officer told us that it would take 6-8 weeks for final visa processing. Next day, I submitted all the necessary information by email which I was asked to submit during the interview. After that, whenever I checked the status of our visa, it was showing as refused, as shown in the picture. It was also showing the case last updated for both of us as : 30 Dec, 2020. On completion of six weeks on 11 February, 2021, both our cases were updated to Administrative Processing, as shown in the second picture. But on 12 February my status was changed to the same old status "refused", while my wife's status is still Administrative Processing. My DS-2019 form was also expired on 13 th February, 2021. I have asked my university to re-issue me the DS-2019 form with new start date of the program.

So my interview took place on the 21st of December 2020 for my immigration visa ir2 I was giving a white sleep to bring extra documents and my passport was returned fast forward January 5th I dropped the documents February 5th I got a call to drop my passport and till date not heard from them my case is still refused but the last update was 17th February 2021

Hello, I applied for H1b Extension dropbox on Jan 22nd in the Bangalore passport submission center. on Feb 8th, My status changed to "Refused" from the Chennai Consulate, and my passport was returned without stamping and white slip in it. White slip indicated to submit a Recent Client letter from the petitioner which I got done on Feb 10th. Has anybody gone through the same situation in the Chennai consulate? How long do they take to process 221g white slip?

Hi I attended the interview on Dec 15. VO asked the generic questions about my job and then said he could not locate petition approval in his database, although I had the original I 797 with me. He took my fingerprints passport & issued a green slip—no actions required on my part. There is no change in CEAC still states the same status. (Refused) Status update from Refused to Admin processing on 02/03 and then again 02/07. Appreciate your response. Thanks

Feb 7, 2020: Passport dropped for Dropbox Feb13, 2020: Got an email to pick the passport. Picked the passport. The passport had a white slip asking to come for an interview any day before 10 AM. Feb 14, 2020: Took interview. I had 2 rounds of interview strangely and then was handed off the 221(g) form asking for documents like the 129 petition, project description, client letter, etc. The funny part I was asked to submit I-539 form which is not applicable for me. Feb 21, 2020: Submitted the docs to the specified email. No acknowledgment yet. Update: My 221g case was not picked up and it expired on 12/31/2020 so I filed a new petition, attended interview on 01/27/2020 and got approved.
