I have been living in the US since 2011. I came in on an F1 visa and later went through OPT -> H1-b
I've been under H1-b status since 2013.
Visa interview questions were normal. She asked about my salary, when I started working, when I first entered US on F1, if I had any CPTs/OPTs etc
Then gave me a 221g blue slip with no documents marked.
12/5/16 - Status created (My original visa appointment was 12/6/16, but was cancelled by the consulate cos CM Jayalalitha died)
1/3/17 - Status updated (The day I finally had my visa appointment)
2/1/17 - Received email at 11:30AM. Email had 221(g) (White color) attached to it, requesting for passport to be dropped off
2/3/17 - Dropped off passport at Bangalore visa center
2/14/17 - Status date updated to 2/14/17. Still in Administrative Processing.
2/15/17 - Issued. Waiting to pick up passport now.
2/16/17 - Collected passport from Bangalore VFS office.
2/18/17 - Crossed port of entry without any trouble, returned to the US.

Oct 7th - Interview ( Typical questions about job, salary, client, project, vendor contract).
Then the counselor took a copy of my I797C took our passports and said it will be processed soon.
Oct 16th - Got an email to collect passports from VFS.
The package has passports (no visa stamped) and a blue 221g slip requesting all documents related to client/petitioner.
Oct 26th - Submitted all documents via email ( as requested on 221g)
Dec 2nd week - Client verification email. The client replied back same week
Jan 4th - Email to submit passport.
Feb 7 - Last Updated date.
Feb 10- Returned passports along with another check on 221g asking for PCC.
Feb 28 - Submitted passports with PCC
March 6 - Status Changes to Issued.
March 8 - obatained passports with visa stamped

VO asked about my research. Retained my passport and issued blue slip asking for no other documents.
Don't know what to expect?????
Today, on 10th March, passport tracking shows no status update available for passport. Till yesterday it was showing passport is with consulate.
What's going on. Please let me know if any of you have gone through the same experience.
Today, on 14th March, I see date is updated to 14th March, but still shows administration processing.
15th March, Status updated to issued. Praise the Lord. Also the passport tracking showed
'Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery'
Finally the wait is over. It took totally 20 days to change from Administrative process to ISSUED.

Hi,
I went for Visa interview on Dec 02nd and VO asked some basic questions and asked me to give the project letter as soon as I said it's in-house project. Unfortunately I was not having that and but I was having couple of sheets which was having very high level description and I gave that too. Still VO gave me a yellow slip and asked me and my family to wait for sometime. Then I have been asked to go to different counter which was little inside than direct counter. And that lady asked me to again detailed project description and technical diagrams and all. I said like I don't have that. And then she herself said, your employer may be able to give and I said yes. Then I got blue slip for "Addition Administrative process" with checked stating (need detail description of the project, timeline, end product) and sent an email on Dec 20th 2016 with all requested documents.
Waiting for almost 3 months but no response or status change in CEAC site. Any direction please let me know.
