My H1 was denied in 2012 after my company responded to 221(g). I was not made aware exactly what they responded or why it was denied.I went to US on dependent visa and in 2013 did a COS to H1. After I moved to a new city due to husband's job, I moved to H4 and a year later came back on H1 when I was ready for work.
I visited New Delhi embassy on 3rd Feb for visa stamping. Visa officer told me that my first H1 was revoked and that there was a fraud reported on it. He was unsure about the fraud and that he would have to do his homework on this case. He saw me getting stressed and said ,"dont worry it is to protect you and I do not want you to return from POE".
He took my passport and he said it will take 2 weeks to process. He didn't see or ask for any other documents and he didnt give me any 221g form.
On CEAC website my case is showing as Administrative Processing.
Has anyone been in this kind of situation.

Attended Visa interview on 31st December, VO asked normal question abt my designation,salary etc. Then asked for the project description and i submitted the same then he went inside and issued 221g form and told me to email few documents. I told him that i had all the documents then he told me that he dont have time to review and send it to the mentioned email address.
on 4th january i submitted all the documents mentioned in the 221g and on 11th i got a mail to submit the client letter and my employer submitted it on the same day. Since then i am waiting for the update..

Hi, I went for H1 visa intv. on Nov 23rd 2015. After intv, VO told your visa is approved. However after several days didn't receive any email to collect passport, I checked Visa status online and it was showing under "Administrative Processing" and status updated date was 28th Nov 2015. On Dec 14th 2015, I got an email for documents (passport) collection. Went to collect passport but there was no visa in it instead a letter was attached (221g) and asked to provide client letter and project description. On Dec 23rd 2015 I submitted all the requested docs, and still waiting to get my visa approved. On Jan 29th 2016, status updated date changed again but still it's under "Administrative Processing".

Hi,
I am from Telecom background done my masters from a well known university in US. Didn't have any issue during F1 before. Now, after 3.5 years of working in US first on STEM extension and now on H1B, I came to India on a vacation. Had my interview on Dec-29 and interview went fine, after the interview the VO (no documents were asked during the interview) handed over a white slip with just the 1st part ticked. Went to another window where the person asked me to submit a resume and a doc containing current work and past experience.
Submitted the doc in MS Word the next day as asked. It's been 15 days with no update. Other than the passport site and CEAC is there any other place to check the status?
Update- Status update changed from Dec 29 (interview date) to Jan 15 (today).
Update- Issued on Jan 19
Passport picked up on Jan 24 :)

Hi I attended interview on Nov 3oth 2015 at Hyderabad consulate for H1B.The VO asked few generic questions and asked me wait in the lobby.
after some other VO given 221 g white slip and said that there is no need to submit any documents and it is in admin processing and they need some time.
Its nearly 2 months and the site shows "Administrative processing" since Nov 30th 2015.
I sent mail to [email protected] i got the below reply.

My interview was on 1 oct 2015. Consulate asked to email one document with a white slip of 221g. He said I need to submit the passport at drop box and gave me and wife's passport back.
My organization sent the documents on 6 oct and I'm still waiting for the status to be changes from AP.
25 Jan 2016 - Embassy asked for details to employer. No change in status on website.
