i had h1 b interview on jan 28 . vo verified the client letter and he asked to wait and i waited more 1 hour then he called and stated as approved , he kept my passport with him .but i went to home after 2 hours i got a call from consulate and the said ,we are putting to AP process.after three days i got the passport without staming and with blue 221g bule . in that blur slip they marked your application require additional Administrative process . they didnt asked any document from me and my employer still now no verification from my side and my employer . please let me know if some one have same

I just received a White form (not sure if that is what is known as White Slip) which had instructions on what I need to send (documents, questionnaire, etc). Sent all documents on Jan. 5, 2016. No updates yet. The status on CEAC website was last updated to January 28, 2016 on February 4 or 5 I think.
Me and my wife(H4) went together for the interview. Both Passports were taken. The Consulate officer did not tell me anything regarding 221g. She took the passports and asked me to go to another different window (that is, not to another consulate). The person in that window, told me about the 221g and handed me this document.
Waiting since then!

Asked basic question like Job description, salary and who referred to the company. After answering all question, VO gave me white slip and asked to submit client letter. I said that I already have it. She said I know you have it just go outside and scan and send it to the email.She asked me to submit client letter(University) and itinerary.
I understand the Process but this unnecessary mess has caused me so much inconvenience. I came from US due to emergency. My pet is there alone. It is almost a month, but no update. Such a opaque system. They should give us the reason why they thought our petition should go through review.

Hi there,
I have attended visa interview in Chennai along with my kid, i have been asked only 3 questions and make me sit there almost 4 hours, Finally he has given 221g blue with no documents required to submit and told me we will let you know the status in couple of weeks time. VO asked basic questions regarding project type n project details, salary and job duties. After checking on computer, he consulted to some back office guys for some 10min keeping me waiting at the window. Came with white 221g slip and ticked almost all the documents from employer and from me as well.
I asked him to have a look at some of the docs that I am carrying but he said today we cannot proceed, you must mail these docs.

I am going for my year-long internship in the field of Biomedical Engineering (TAL).
Though I submitted my documents (CV and a Questionnaire about my research consisting of 4 questions) on the same day of my interview but it was only yesterday I realized that I haven't mentioned about my professional/research references in my CV (it was explicitly asked for in the 221g slip). So, last night (Jan 19), I sent them a separate document with complete contact details of 3 of my research references.
Will this be an issue when they are reviewing the case? Is it going to delay the whole process for me?
