I-751
Hello,

I badly needed some help who anyone had the same experience. We mailed our I-751 application and got a reject staus because of early filing. As soon as we got the returned package from USCIS, we resubmitted it and as tracked from FedEx it was received on November 18th. No NOA until now.

I called USCIS on Dec 11th and was asked to return call on 12/10 to check since this is 1 month before my conditional GC expires but still no updates on their system that they received our resubmission.

I was asked fo call again on 12/18, this is the 1 month since my resubmission was tracked as received. I am so anxious what to do next as my conditional GC expires on 1/09.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Did you submit an affidavit for i-175? Were the affidavits notarized?
Hello,

My husband and I will be submitting the i-751 on Jan 24th, 2021. We are starting to prepare our documents. However, I do have one question: did any of you submit affidavits from friends?

If the answer is yes, did you have the affidavits notarized?

For some reason, I thought affidavits were required for i-751 and that they needed to be notarized. I want to limit our chances of having to go for an interview.

I 751 Divorce Waiver
I'm filing a response to an RFE issued on my initially jointly filed I-751 from last year. I'm including both additional evidence of our real relationship, as well as the divorce decree that was recently finalized. My service center is Vermont, and lately I've read some negative experiences - a lot more people receiving RFE's and even people being accused of lying when the presented evidence seems to point to a legitimate marriage.

Does anyone have a good experience to share after filing with a divorce waiver? I was very confident with the amount of evidence I'm submitting to this RFE, however now I'm not so certain after reading so many terrible experiences. I'm submitting joint living documentation (lease and important mail sent to our joint address), joint tax return transcripts for the years, joint health insurance with evidence of use, joint AAA membership, invoices of repair payments made for his vehicle by me, affidavits including from the USC spouse, pet adoption papers and vet bills, marriage counselling proof, and copies of texts/calls between us and some from his family, as well as photos from travelling. We did not have a joint bank account per his decision, as I'm still in school and we were going to move after my graduation, so he wanted to wait until we buy a house to open one. I have included screenshots of our conversations where I discuss how mortgage works in America and how since he has helped me throughout my academic career, I'm saving up everything I have and will be the one to put down the payment on our future home. In addition, my now ex-husband insisted on covering our rent throughout the years, but I still sent him money monthly (however much I could) that went towards our bills. I've included these bank statement transfers to his account throughout our married life as evidence as well.

All of this is compiled into one giant binder, and I have two more weeks before the deadline (with the COVID extension) to send it out. I'm meeting with a lawyer on Monday to review my application as I'm starting to get concerned.

Any positivity would be greatly appreciated!
