I751 living separately with spouse
Hi, my case is an interesting one. I would like to share my experience to give you guy some hope. I entered the US in 2018 and get married with my spouse in Dec 2018. I got my 2 year green card in Dec 2019. Since 2021 we have been living separately but still married due to work. I applied N400 based on 3 year rule in Sep 2022, and got an interview 5 months after that. But it is not a combo and they couldn't make the decision because I751 was pending.

About a month ago I was scheduled for a I751 interview. It was a tough one. We were separated right from the beginning. Questions are like I485, and mostly about what we've been doing for that last few years. At the end, he told me that he would piece it together and mail the decision in 2 weeks.

A week ago my status changed as follow. Interestingly, I got approved for I751 and denied N400. I am happy overall because I can file N400 again later. Hope that help!

What happens if i751 (removal of conditions) doesn't get approved after 24 months? Can you still legally work or travel abroad?
Hi everyone,

I submitted i751(removal of conditions) on January 25, 2022 in CA and I'm still waiting... I submitted N-400 (naturalization) on March 13, 2023 and the processing time was estimated to be 8 months but now it says "Your case is taking longer than expected to process". It has been a long and frustrating process and I already submitted a ticket.

My Green card expired on March 20, 2022 and what happens if i751 (removal of conditions) or N-400 doesn't get approved by March 20, 2024 (honestly not hoping much now...)? Can I still legally work in the US? Can I travel out of the country? I know that USCIS started issuing 48 months extension letter last year. Does my case apply? How do I request that?

Appreciate everyone's answer and support!

Potomac Service Center waiting since July 2021
Hello good people,

I applied for i751 (removal of conditions) in 2021 (received date 06/22/21). Case status is stuck on as of July 23, 2021 finger prints has been applied to case.
My center is Potomac service center.

Are there people out there in same boat? Should I go to for N400? I have read some experience here where people suggested to wait and not apply for it if they are close to 30 months mark as it delayed their cases. I am so confused and out of patience.

Does Any one know for which month Potomac is processing the applications now? Please suggest.

Hi everyone, has anyone had any experience with traveling from Lahore, Pakistan to the US with an expired green card and the extension letter? Especially with Qatar airways? I want to visit home but I’m scared that the airline crew will not be familiar with the extension letter so please, any advice would be appreciated!
