Divorce after I-751
Hey everyone. I filed in end of December 2021, but now my wife wants to file for divorce. Do you know how long the process will take ? How it might affect me in case she doesn’t show up for the interview ? We filed jointly back in December of this year , Vermont field office.

Can I request USCIS to transfer away from Potomac center
The more I read about experiences here , the more I get angry and annoyed at Potomac Service Center. Why did my petition land there ? What are they doing there compared to other service centers . It’s a total disaster and unfair .
I am ready to pay USCIS more money just to not have my petition be at Potomac . Anywhere else .

If I was in any other service center I would expect it to be done in next few months . With Potomac I expect it to go till end of 2023 for this uncertainty.

My case was received on 4/22/2021 and still haven’t heard anything from that day. I wonder why there are different processing times between these service centers? What make them taking so long to review a case? As I saw on the USCIS website, Nebraska and California are the 2 centers that have the longest processing time ever. So frustrated

Hi all - I noticed that some October 2020 filers who initially filed in Potomac and there cases was transferred to NBC are getting approvals. I saw two cases from October 6th that got approved last week. Can someone please tell me that they are seeing the same thing? I filled my I751 October 27th 2020 and N400 December 21. for the I751 case was transferred to NBC on Jan 25 22 and N400 status is being actively reviewed .
