Crazy thing is ...
So I am a green card holder.
My wife is applying through me, that is why I have this account.
We are now 202 days in, and no news whatsoever. No RFEs, or anything else really.

I went back and checked when I got my Green Card back in the middle of 2016 (before the elections), do you know how long it took for me to get my Combo EAD card?

Ready for it?

3 weeks.
From my biometrics appointment, to the EAD in my hand. 3 f-in' weeks.

True, that was an employment based one green card, and not the family based one (what we're doing for my wife now). But still.

That is how much things changed after the 2016 election

NBC August Filler (Marriage-Based)
Hi All,

Is the only way to Expedite the process is to Chat through Emma or over the phone? Do they provide any reference number that we need to include in the expedite document packet? Thanks

Don’t you think it’s high time we fought back?
Hello everyone

I’m just at a point where I’m fed up.People are losing their jobs and livelihood, people have pending job offers, people have kids, medical bills, rent, and plenty of more bills to worry about; not to mention how this process at some point has affected each and everyone one of us on this forum mentally and emotionally. It has also affected our spouses because they have to bare the financial burden on their own while our lives are being held hostage by these evil people. When will it end? Are they doing this to us because they think we are afraid to do anything about it? I think it’s time we called congress; file lawsuits for emotional and mental distress. It’s not right that they just have us sitting here, waiting for an immigration benefit that once upon a time took 3 months to process. Something must be done. Congress needs to fight for us and do something; we have rights too! We are doing things the right way like they asked so why have us wait in anguish for something so simple as a work permit?what if we all just called congress on Monday, what if we all just sort the help of immigration rights groups to sue these people? Honestly this is ridiculous. I just had to vent and let all my frustration out, it’s been 158 days of silence from them. I can’t take it anymore.

My receipt day for I485, I765 and I131 are May 28 and no news since the Biometrics appointment on June 26.
I485 online status indicates "Biometrics Fee Received" and the work permit and the travel permit are "Case Received"
I raised an SR about a week ago, but now I see that the processing times are extended once again to 7.5 months so many receipt date falls into normal processing times again.
I filed my adjustment of status based on the category of eligibility for unmarried sons and daughters of US citizens over 21. I feel like my type of cases deliberately take even longer time than those filed for marriage. If I knew what I know now I would have gone for the consular processing because this simple immigration benefit that used to take 2-3 months pre-2016 is now taking close to a year under this administration's policy!
They are powerless against the illegal immigrants and instead, it is us who are paying the price!
At least I am living in the comfort of my family home. I send thoughts and prayers for those with bills to pay, children and family to take care of.
I'm spending my time with my hobbies that I could never find time before, like writing, drawing, going to the gym x4 a week, playing flight simulator. I have a master's degree, yet I know that someone else with only a bachelor's degree who is a native-born is taking the job that would hire me otherwise!
I will raise another SR when I can, get in contact with ombudsman, apply for jobs and then ask for an expedite but after these there is nothing we can do but to wait.

Why am I brung asked to send evidence again?
Honestly I’m so over this process; why for the life of me am I being asked to fax evidence once again when I did that with my first expedite request?!So does this mean they lost all the evidence I faxed them? This is beyond ridiculous. I mean how the hell are they functioning? It seems to me they have absolutely no clue whatsoever on how to handle people’s cases. Faxing stuff costs money!! What more do they need from me, i have nothing left to offer, this process is mentally draining and frustrating.

Yesterday I received the white courtesy letter for I-693 and it came from uscis local office not NBC, does that mean my case is ready to schedule for an interview? my status online still shows Fee was accepted and it never updated since case received on August 27. No RFEs so far.

Can you share your timeline after receiving the letter?
