Question About EAD Receipt Number
Hi everyone,
So I applied for the EAD card and I am wondering about this website that tracks the process time of each case. https://www. **** *.com/uscis/ead-processing-time/
I know that it might be an estimation. So I am wondering if the receipt number that is shown corresponds to the files the USCIS is checking? If anyone knows this website and like to know more information.
My other question is does the receipt number determine when the USCIS will look at a case? So basically does the receipt number in general show you an order for when they check?

Finally myI-765 update”new card being produced.I can try to raise a case inquire and they sent me email sated Exepect a reply by December 17 2019 .on December 132019 we ordered your new card will mail it to the address you give us .I -485 case was updated to show fingerprint were taken .hope every one may filler get this week there Ead card .All the best

EAD still process in NBC
It looks like a lot happened on Dec.13. I have reading quite a few posted updates on Dec. 13.
I got a notice on i485- case is ready to schedule an interview. I understand i485 will be patched to local field office. Unfortunately my local office is very back logged, it will not probably take another 4-5 months to get the interview. However, i want to know when will EAD being processed? Here is my timeline:
8/19 PD
9/12 BIO
11/21 Expedite for EAD
11/26 Expedite denited
12/13 i485 is ready for schedule an interview. ( i guess they reviewed file and everything is good?)

Status change - Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken
Saw a few other posts about this.
My status went from "Fingerprint preview was completed" to "Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken".
Someone pointed out that it is a step forward as in FBI has completed its review after the initial review by USCIS.
Is there anyone who is farther in the process and can tell an approximate timeline from this step onwards?

Should you share your EAD with recruiters
Hi All,
I received my L2 EAD in early October and I have been on job hunt since then. Over the period of 2 months I worked with few recruiters who arranged for an interview with a client by submitting my resume. But lately I am getting calls from various recruiters who want me to send them a copy of my L2 EAD and sometimes some personal ID ( like driving license) even before they send my resume to the client. I am not sure if this is a common practice in contracting role or even if I should do it.
Have anyone of you have experienced this with recruiting/staffing agency? If yes, did you furnish these documents?
Kindly advice.
Also, please pardon me if this may not be the right forum to ask this question.

I've been a silent reader and wanted to share my timeline.
I waited and did not expadite my case. My expereince has been frustrating too and I have found this group very helpful.

Case pending for 5 months
New card being produced 12 December 2019
Case approved 15th Dec 2019
I'm now waiting for my card to arrive. My employer has been waiting for over 4 months now. Unfortunately, my L2 is due for renewal in March 2020 and I'll need to go through this all over again soon after the L2 in renewed early Jan/Feb 2020.
I hope this helps some of you that have filed July onwards.
