Tired of waiting
Hey guys

What if we all just called congress, and tell them to intervene; the wait is unbearable now and it’s so unfair to all of us. All we want is a simple immigration benefit to work so that we can provide for our families and have peace of mind; not constantly looking over our shoulders. What if we just called them, perhaps sign a petition l; or collectively just write them a letter. I’m so fed up of this; I’m tired of waiting around while my life is in limbo and at a standstill. Sorry just ranting, I’m extremely frustrated.

Timeline:

July 25th - Case received

August 8th - Bio appointment letter
August 23th - Bio appointment
August 25th - Fingerprint review completed

September 21st - RFIE I-485 (Birth certificate with parents name on)
October 2nd - RFIE I-485 Received by USCIS
October 19th - Case ready to be scheduled for an interview

December 2nd - New card is being produced I-765
December 3rd - Case was approved I-765 & I-131 / EAD and AP.

- Now just waiting for the card to be mailed.

No service requests, no expedite requests. Really surprised how well its gone as me and my wife are both 22 years old, and the fact that some lawyers wanted $3000 for the whole case and that didn't include any of the filing fees. LOL.

Stay patient and it'll soon be your turn.

RFE
Proof that uscis does not know what they are doing- my expedite was approved yesterday 12/03, still waiting on a final decision.

Today, 12/04 the congressman contacted me back saying uscis Wrote them a letter in regards to his inquiry for my I-765 and said that “I can’t even request an expedite at this moment because they are waiting on additional evidence for I-485 rfe. Thely stated they don’t have proof of income for my husband even though our original package from July had his proof of income signed by his boss and last 6 pay stubs submitted.

The irony...

How these people have the power over our futures is beyond me.
