My timeline below:
Seattle based, NBC processing, US citizen spouse. Filed I485, I131, I130 and I765 concurrently
PD : July 1st, 2019.
Biometrics : July 31st, 2019.
Ready to be scheduled for interview : Sep 11th, 2019.
New EAD card is being produced : 20th Nov, 2019.
I131 (Advance Parole status, still shows as case received).
Hoping to receive a combo card in the next 7-8 working days.

Disappointed
I am in the US on an L1 visa. My husband is currently waiting for an L2 EAD.
We are well educated and had well paid jobs home in Europe. The reason for why we came to the US was because my employer struggled filling my current position and therefore I was asked to go. From me and my husband’s perspective, we saw this as a good opportunity to get some international experience and then return home again. A prerequisite for us going together was that he too could work in the US. Our lawyers informed us that it would take up to three months for my husband to get a work permit.
If we would have known what we know now we would never have come. My husband is just waisting time at home, it will look bad at his cv and it is bad for our relationship. Is this what the government wants? Congratulations, you are for sure discouraging skilled couples, who have other and better choices, to come here. We could have gone somewhere else. What you will have left is the poor people who have no better choice than to sit and waste time while waiting.

So I just chatted with USCIS on Emma and they recommend I call and speak with a tier 2 agent about my situation.
So I called and they tell me all tier 2 agents are busy with 2 hour wait time and told me to call tomorrow.
What a soap opera...

EAD in-process. Holiday season ahead
Hi All,
I have applied for a marriage based GC on the 16th of Aug and there has been very little movement on the case till now, I have a job offer waiting and my company want me to join ASAP as they have a few critical deliverables early next year.
Based on this I expedited my EAD on the 6th of Nov and was asked to fax the evidence and offer letter, which we faxed as well as mailed a copy to the NBC location last week.I haven't heard back on whether they've received the evidence or not yet. How does this work? I am not sure what to respond to people from work as there is nothing that I have heard from the USCIS yet.
I called them a couple of days back too, the tier 1 officer had added a note to my case saying the field officer would intimate us if they've gotten the evidence. I am super worried right now. Should I try faxing the evidence again? Please advise.
Also, with thanksgiving and Christmas round the corner, do we expect a drop in number of cases being processed on an average day now?

Hi all - silent reader just wanted to share some good news for anyone hoping to get home for the holidays.
Just some background then dates.
British Citizen, in the country on an L1 - married an American citizen. Filled AOS/EAD/Parole all together.
Filed Mid-June.
Finger prints soon after.
Card approved last week - should be delivered I assume in the next few days/week. So can finally book tickets back to London!

Waiting for New EAD (c9) while on OPT (F1)
I’ve requested status of change based on marriage to USC.
Currently, I’m on my OPT. My OPT EAD expires end the of January 2020. My new EAD application is pending based on marriage (c 9)

Will I be qualified to automatic 180-days extension, If I don’t receive my new EAD before my OPT EAD expiration date??
I cannot afford to lose my OPT job because my family financial situation will be in very bad situation since I’m the only provider and we have a new born baby. In addition, my company will have a hard time to find somebody in very short time who can replace me.
I will be thankful to any advice.
