Case closed - SSN card
Hi everyone. On 11/08 I had my marriage-base interview and my car was accepted the same day. I’m awaiting my green card now.
However, I filled the I-795 form concurrently but today my case was closed “ On November 14, 2019, we closed your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number YYYY YYYY X, because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means.”
The problem is I asked them to apply for my SSN number. Does it mean I won’t receive it and have to apply for the SSN card at the local office once I receive my green card?

I saw some expedite cases get outright rejected, without the opportunity to even provide evidence!

There is silver lining in all this.
Some people (C9 AOS) are getting their GC around the same time as EAD.
We might get the GC sooner if your interview is already booked.
But then, a lot of people wait a lot longer so you never know

I don’t know what they doing ... my PD is jun 30 srtill fp was reveiwed . No update till today ... one of my friend got his ead and ap yesterday and his PD was june 5

Silent reader I have seen some people from July RD are getting approve which gives me hope . The wait is so stressfull hopefully mine come soon.

Moving to a new address while the I765, 131, 485, 130 is pending
Hi,
My PD is July 1st. Is it advisable to move while your case is pending?
I can follow the process to change the address officially with USCIS but read about some cases where even after the address change, the cards were not delivered and were sent back to USCIS.
Please share your experiences.

I just received update on my case! My card is being produced.
May 16th NBC. After 6 months!! I applied for 131 but the status is still Case was received. Does anyone know if I will get them together on one card? Anyone in the same situation?
