Tonight I am finally able to share the good news - and I signed up to share it with you guys.

I decided to start looking for jobs in early October as I thought the EAD would be soon approved. And I was lucky enough to receive a job offer soon after in my field.
I was hoping to go back home due to family having cancer and surgery in November. The job start date was fortunately December.
As soon as I got a job offer, I decided to request an expedite as soon as possible. I called USCIS 1-800 and submitted a request. I worked to draft a cover letter along with other documents for the expedite request due to both financial hardship and humanitarian reasons - we just relocated and my husband started his new job 2 months after the move which we ended up utilizing our savings and had borrowed money from family for the move, rent, etc. I also needed to go to my home country which the financial circumstances made it hard for me to spend a 1500+ dollar ticket. Documents included were family members medical diagnosis, bank statement showing low balance and constant transfer from savings and family, and job offer letter.

I read some scary posts that expedites sometimes go without a response for a whole month. I decided to seek help via congressman. I drafted the letter to congressman as same manner as I wrote for USCIS along with same supporting documents. I went to the office in person and was able to get them to submit an expedite through them as well. The office lady told me that they would normally ask petitioner to request an expedite directly with USCIS first before offering help, but because my expedite reason was time sensitive (had to go to home country in time for surgery), she agreed to help.

USCIS assigned an officer and requested supporting documents to be faxes 10/21/2019
And I did not hear anything from either USCIS or congressmen's office. Not even an update saying they received the faxed documents.
Then today afternoon, I got a text from USPS that package was being sent to be est arrival in 2 days. Then in the evening I got an email from USCIS that the card has been picked up by the postal service.
There is no way of knowing for sure but my guess is that the expedite was approved via the congressmen since I did not receive any updates on USCIS this whole time.

For those who do have legitimate reasons to apply for an expedite. Don’t be afraid to do so and to reach out to your congressman. All the posts I read in the midst of my EAD wait had kept me insane and hope. Because I know that eventually everyone’s time will come. Happy Halloween and hang in there everyone!

Woke up this morning to see my new card was being produced! I am April 29 NBC C9 filer from Houston.
I am still not sure when I'll get it but this has been the best news today. I hope everyone still waiting on theirs gets an update in the next couple of days. I know the processing times bummed a lot of us out.

New Card Being Produced
Hi, friends!!
Finally our day has come! We woke up this morning to an email "We have taken action on your case" so I logged into https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ (only this account shows action) and it says "As of October 30th we ordered your new card"!!
We are PD June 10, 2019 - NBC.
I am praying and hoping and sending positive energy for the rest of you!!

Finally got my EAD in mail
They sent it to my old address. I have go there and get it.
March 3 filler 2019.

Anyone got this same message from USCIS?
"On October 24, 2019, we approved your request for expedite processing on your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization. We are processing your case and will send you a notice of action with our final decision. "

Hello everyone,
After 8,5 months waiting I finally received my EAD/AP card and would like to share my timeline with you.
I-485 (c09) marriage based NBC, local office is San Francisco.
02/12/2019 Application was approved
03/04/2019 Received Biometric Appointment letter
03/14/2019 Biometric appointment was completed.
07/31/2019 The Case is ready to schedule
08/07/2019 The 1st SR raised (didn’t receive a response)
09/06/2019 I called uscis and tier1 officer made another SR.
09/20/2019 I received a response from uscis regarding my out-of-processing time SR which is:
Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner.
10/03/2019 Contacted with congresswoman office.
10/21/2019 Expedite requested via Tier 2 officer because of my health problem and financial loss.
10/23/2019 The new card was ordered.
10/25/2019 The card was mailed to me.
10/25/2019 Officer responded to my expedite request that they mailed my card.
10/30/2019 I received the card! Yay!!
Our congresswomen immigration specialist emailed us on 10/23/2019 and let us know that our card was produced. I told tier 2 officer about my arm problem that requires surgery and I actually asked for travel permit because the surgeon told me that I’ll need 2 months rest at least after surgery and I planned to go to my parents house in my home country since my husband cannot take off that long. I’m not sure what made the process faster, either both or just congresswoman nancy pelosi’s office.

EAD Expedite request so slow
Faxed my evidence that my job will get terminated if no EAD by the end of this month. They received my fax for 3 weeks but my status still no change. I heard people saying job offer and termination no longer qualify for expedite request...........so ridiculous

Can we travel outside US with pending L2 extension and EAD with no valid visa? Please help.
