EAD - Can I actually work?
Filed all my paperwork I-130, I-485, work authorization etc..
I received my notices in the mail. I forwarded this to my employer along with my expired EAD card (OPT EAD), they are now saying I am authorized to return to work... Can anyone provide some insight on this?
They are a multination company, so not that I dont trust them...
Work there for one year on OPT. Left once my EAD expired. Filed paperwork (Marriage to USC) got notifications. Forwarded to company along with previous EAD. Now they say I am authorized to come back to work.
Please advise if possible. (Houston, TX)

SR while waiting to expedite
While waiting for an expedite through congressman, my case went "out of normal processing times". Has anyone been waiting for expediting through congressman and raised a service request on their own? Just wondering if that will ruin anything.

Level 2 officer
Do you know if the Level 2 officer can see expedite request from congressman?
I spoke to multiple representatives during the call to USCIS but they dont have access to see the requests for congressman. Its been almost 2 weeks congressman raised expedite request and they didnt hear anything from USCIS yet. My work permit expiring soon and need the EAD ASAP to retain the job.

EAD Out of Normal Processing Time
I have a question. If the EAD application is now out of normal processing time, can we ask congressman for a help to go through the expedited process? I already opened a service request for my wife. Do I still can start the expedited process? Thanks everyone!

EAD WAITING PERIOD NBC - Outside The Processing Time
Hello everyone,
Thank you for sharing your experiences! it is really good to know what is going on about the processes.
I applied family-based greencard in February and my case was approved on the 12th of Feb. I went to fingerprint appointment one month later and then did not hear anything. Still waiting. When I checked EAD waiting period, it was 4-6 months in February for National Benefit Center, and then it turned to 6.5-8.5 months. Now I checked and it is 10.5 -12.5 months! I'm shocked to be honest :/ My husband called them a month ago they told us to just wait.
I am just wondering if we want to expedite our case due to outside the processing time, should we do it nowadays or wait a little bit longer? I am kinda feeling hopeless since they keep changing processing time.
I will be truly appreciated for your feedbacks. Thank you so much.

I-765 got approved at midnight
My EAD card application got approved 2 hours ago, and just now, 1AM I received a text message saying that my case status has changed.
I online chatted with an agent this afternoon. Don’t know if this helped. Opened expedite request 2 weeks ago, raised a SR last week.
