So I finally got in touch with a tier 2 officer who said he has good news and that my case is assigned to an officer as of last week.
Does anyone know what that means? And how long it takes to get the ead once that happens??

So finally after 269 days of waiting 3 SR the last one dont today and probably 100 phone calls to uscis I got the update that my EAD is new card is being produced .

Interview already Scheduled for AOS July/ 23/19

What do you guys think about involving both congress and senate for an ead outside normal processing?

Mar 2019 J2 EAD
Hi all... my J2 EAD RD was 13 Mar. Still awaiting approval. Had to go on unpaid leave starting 1st Jul. Anyone figured out a way to access database of other J2 EADs? My guess is that USCIS is treating EADs of various types differently. Is there a way to figure out if Mar J2 EADs have been approved? I had collated a database of a few J2 EADs (it is not available now though). According to the data I had collated, some J2 EADs received at the CA office on 11 Mar have been approved. Mine was received on 13th Mar, hence we are awaiting approval. If you have any other way of tracking J2 EADs, can you share that? Thanks.

Card Being Produced
my wife and I was notified same day (june 29) 'new card being produced. But my status on July 5th changed to 'we mailed your card', where as her status still remains the same like 'new card being produced'. is it something like they produce card in different days even though her case and my case number is in serially ordered and was card being produced the same day.
what are the next status changes after card 'we mailed your card'??

Hi All,
Don't wait for USCIS to file you SSN. I received my EAD combo card on saturday and went straight to the SSA office to file my SSN on monday. They didn't have anything on file for my name even though I selected that option on my paperwork. I will get the SSN within 2 weeks, vs 4-5 weeks waiting for USCIS to file.
Thank you to everyone who recommended doing this, the card will come in half the time.
