Ead/ work permit edition paperwork is old
Hello, I am trying to fill out a paperwork for a new ead but the one up on uscis is dated 5/31/2020 meaning that the edition of the work permit form that is up on the website is already expired. I called uscis and the agency told me to use a 2019 edition to fill up my paperwork and I honestky dont think that agent has a clue on what she was saying. Can someone tell me what I can do in this situation. I really need to fill a renewal paperwork with a new edition. Please I need a quick reply on this, thanks

Hello everyone,
just trying to see if anyone can provide any advice or someone who is going through the same frustration with getting the first social security card.
Our Experience:
I and my husband got married in October of last year. our process was quite fast and he got his green card in March right before the whole lockdown happened and the SSN offices closed.
The application I-756 we filled was closed because" the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means" which I believe that meant since he received his green card this early he can just go ahead and apply for his social in person. although we did request his social on the application I-756. but we never received it.
we have been calling the social security office and it just frustrating they don't know when they will open the offices again and there is no way to apply for the first social security number unless you have an exception which is obtaining job letter from an employer and send it with the originals documents: original Green card/passport/job letter/SS5 application then an appointment can be issued they said.
My question is anyone going through this? and is it safe and secure to just send all original documents in the mail (without getting lost)? anytime frames if anyone already sent? or what's the best way to go about this? can an attorney help?
My husband's life right now literally is on hold nothing can be done without social no driver license/job I can't even file my taxes jointly with him. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone provides us with any advice.

Combo card
Hello Everyone
I have a previous cases filed for I-765 cartegory 31 from September 2019, I have now just recently filed a new I-765 under category 9 I was wondering if I will need new biometrics seeing that the ones on file is relatively new.
Also, I was wondering if there’s anyone who has expedited their combo card and actually got it expedited whats the best way to go about it?(meaning what proof do I need)

I am curious what is the current situation ... I haven't done the Biometric yet.
My I-131 and I-765 status changes as follows ..
I-131: Case Received (5/02) -> Update Name (6/22) -> Approved (6/23) -> I do received the approval notice.
I-765: Case Received (5/02) -> Update Name (6/22) -> New Card Being Produced (6/23) -> Didn't get any approval notice lol
I did chat with online agent .. and he/she said you probably need to wait around max 60 days to receive the card ..
I am not hurry to get the combo card but just curious why there is no I-765 approval notice coming in ..
The I-131 approval notice even had the date of the AP is valid (6/22/2020 -> 6/21/2021) lol

Obtaining your Social Security card after you receive you EAD card. Marriage based green card.
Hello fellow filers,
Has anyone had luck obtaining their Social Security card with the offices being closed. My lawyer has advised me that I need to apply to them directly to obtain my card. Can anyone share their experience.

Combo Card for Kids 13 years and younger
Has anyone applied for a Combo Card (EAD/AP Card) as part of Family GC Process (AOS Process) for kids 13 years and younger and received the card. Did the card come along with the combo cards for the parents or was it sent latter separately. If it came latter, how much longer did it take. Please do share your experiences. Thank you.
