I would like to share my experience because this forum helped me a great deal.
USCIS received my application I765 on Dec24, 2018, my H1B visa expires at the end of June of 2019, and began to be worried about a gap in my employment, so, at the beginning of May, I started reading this forum to learn about the experiences of other people, and here is where I found out about the possibility of an expedite, so I made an appointment to go to my local USCIS office, on May 15 I went there and submitted a letter with documentation, the letter basically was about severe personal financial loss and the possibility of losing my job, the documents I submitted were copies of my payroll and my insurance, the person that helped me in this office scanned all the documents and she sent everything via email to the USCIS branch that was doing my paperwork (NBC), next day, May 16 my card was approved and today May 23 I have my card in hand.
I strongly suggest that after they send your card, to follow closely with USPS.
The process puts a lot of anxiety, wish you all the best!!! ...

EAD filed in april
I filled my case by 12th april and received receipt on 17th of april. Now when i check my case status it only shows the details that case has been received and follow the instructions on notice which we have sent. But there are no any other instructions on the notice i797C.
Also can you please guide that when one have to go for biometrics?
Its around one and a half month, the case status is still the same.

I have filed for a EAD renewal on April 16, 2019 at the Potomac Service Center.

Expedite EAD
Hi all. I am now waiting for my EAD for 153 days.
My previous EAD expired at the end of Feb. Luckily my boss is letting me work again once I get my EAD but he is getting inpatient and so am I.
I asked my lawyer to have my case expedited but he said there is no such thing.
He said there is nothing I can do, just have to wait and do nothing.
It seems like he is lying since a lot of people on here had their case expedited.
Can someone help me how to request the case expedited? How can I do this ?
And how can I talk to someone from USCIS ? Even if I call, it’s just an endless loop of auto voice...

I am on the brink of losing my JOB on 6.3.2019 when mu current EAD Exipires.
Please can someone help - I expedited and subsequently received an RFE which l responded too - Does the RFE cancel my expedite request? Should l call to put in a second expedite request.
Does anyone have the same experience. I am worried.

Hi all,
I am over 21 daughter of USC adjusting status. Waited 7 years so far for my cutt-off date to become current so I could apply for adjustment. my question is, does everybody get updates on their statuses? Because all I have is:
filed = 6 Mach, 2019 (case is at NBC)
my fingerprint fee received = 26 March, 2019
and no more updates....
but I have received my biometrics letter and done the biometrics appointment on April 16, 2019. But nothing changes on the system....so I do not know if everything went okay with my biometrics or what....I see some people get updates but nothing for me so far....is that normal?
I am really trying to figure out when I should expect an EAD etc and it is driving me crazy....our home went for foreclosure and I managed to get a new deal with the mortgage company saying that because my cutt-off date became current I was going to be able to work here in the US soon and help my mother pay for the house (as until then, I was living abroad and working abroad)...but I only have enough savings to send over to America for this month only and then no more money. So afraid of losing the house as they said I could never be late on the house payment again and my mother by herself cannot make it due to loss of multiple incomes.

Still waiting on my ead. I saw some with the date nov 5th getting updates on their EAD. Is there someone before me who is waiting on theirs?
Just wondering if the nbc gives out eads in random orders or sequence.
