Filing for marriage based green card, adjusting status from a student visa (c[9])
When I look at the timelines people are sharing, a lot of them say something about “fingerprints received” or something similar, which seems to update within a few days of your biometrics appointment. Mine is still stuck on “biometrics fee recieved”. Is this something I should be concerned about, that it didn’t update to “fingerprints recieved” in less than a week?

It's going to be 180 days in two days. RD Oct 19, NBC, c9, employment-based. I know some people have been waiting even longer, I also know that others are going through really heavy stuff (losing their jobs, having a hard time with their families...) Each one of us has a different story, different needs, different reasons... L2 new EAD received, still waiting for SSN?
Hi guys,
I applied for L2 EAD on 26th Nov 2018 and got the card delivered on 26th March 2019. However, I am still waiting for the SSN. I applied for SSN along with the EAD form.
Any ideas/ experiences with this?

EAD case update!
I have been reading everyone's experiences for the past month and it has been one of the few things that has helped me get through this time.
Received date was August 30th, and i have been waiting after my biometrics which i took on October for them to mail me my renewal card.
Today i got an update on my EAD saying they ordered my new card and will be mailed out to me. I cant explain in words how happy i am.
For everyone waiting, keep pushing and be patience, your time is coming.

L2 EAD renewal expereince
My L2 EAD (eligibility a-18) expired March 24 2019
Submitted EAD renewal (this is the 2nd renewal- last time back in October 2018 it took me 60 days)
02/14/2019 i-765 received (was submitted late as L1 documentations were not ready beforehand)
03/28 raised SR applied via local congressman for case expedition on the basis of financial loss (lose my job)
04/01- Expedition request was not approved as does not meet their expedite criteria.
04/15 status not changed
i am employed since Jan 2017 and my employer has put me on leave for now, however if i don't get my EAD soon i will most probably lose my job :-(
My questions to this forum:
1. Does anyone know if there is any impact on processing time if SR for expedition request was declined ?
2. what are current processing time for L2 EAD renewals for CA service center? is it same processing time for renewals vs. first time EAD?

No SSN yet
I have an EAD card but no Social Security Number yet. I applied it long time ago and coming to the SSA office for follow up status if needed. Its been 2 months already guys and I didn’t receive it yet. I have already collected 5 letters from SSA since August 2018.
Poor me. I have an interview next week for green card but no enough evidence because my husband couldn’t add me to his accounts. Social security number is needed.

It's not fair
How is it possible that people who filed in December, January and February are already receiving their EAD's? Like what did you guys do to make it so fast? While us October to November filers still havent received ours. Like did we do something wrong? I just don't get it...

I have an update on my timeline and I wanted to share and see if anyone has similar experience and advice.

Dec. 21. 2018 - Received my case (i-485, i-765, i-130, i-864, and medical exam)
Jan. 14. 2019 - Received a request for evidence for i-864 (missing sponsor's signature)
Jan. 26. 2019 - Completed biometrics
Feb. 11. 2019 - USCIS received my request for evidence
Mar 11. 2019 - My i-465 case is ready to be scheduled for an interview (no date yet, as of today)
April 12. 2019 - New card being produced for i-765
Could anyone tell me how long it takes for the employment card to be mailed to my house from when they say they ordered my card? Also does a SSN come with it?
