Hi everyone!

Did anyone apply for EAD in December 2017 and still waiting???

My timeline:

Married to USC, NBC
12/05/17 - PD
12/15/17 - Case received
06/15/18 - RFE was mailed (for joint sponsor)
07/05/18 - RFE was received by NBC
07/17/18 - Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

Since then, no news about EAD card. :-(

EAD Processing Office
Hi all,

I noticed this note on the USCIS Processing Times webpage : https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/more-info

"Note:
If the “USCIS Office” is the National Benefits Center (NBC) and you have filed an employment-based or family-based Form I-485, Form N-400, or Form N-600, you should check processing times for your local field office."

Does this apply to I-765 processing as well?

I'm married to a USC, live in SF, my PD is 04/26/2018, Received Date is 05/07 and the last status update on 06/24 reads:

As of June 25, 2018, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC YYYY ZZZ, at our National Benefits Center location.

Which Office processing time should I be looking at - NBC or California?

EAD question
I would want to know how to figure out which office handles EAD’s for the people who filled out of NYC. I know my package was sent to Chicago Lockbox but I don’t know where they are processing work permits.
My PD by the way is March 12
Marriage based category
Pending i485

Follow-up with EAD Expedite
Hi guys,

My I-765 EAD application is I-485 based

Timeline about my case:
04/05/2018: USCIS received my application
05/15/2018: Fingerprint at local ASC
05/25/2018: Fingerprint review was completed. This is the last status I can check now in my USCIS account
07/11/2018: Requested EAD expedite
07/19/2018: As per requested, supporting documents were delivered to national benefit center

My current work permit will expire on 08/01/2018. I don't want to terminate my job so the approval of EAD is urgent. I contacted my local congressman office which sent out request to USCIS on my behalf. Also, I made info pass at my field office. However, the field office cannot do anything because the case is still not being processed.

With reference to other posts, I think I only have two actionable options left : 1) contact senator; 2) contact ombudsman.

If you have experience of contacting senator or ombudsman before, please tell me which option is working or both and any detailed instruction of the process. If neither is working or you have other better escalation way, please let me know.

EAD denied
Hi guys, I just received my decision and it says it was denied because I filled before 150 days clock, but the thing is,
I applied for Asylum and was recommended for approval, immediately I could apply for Work Authorization even though I didn't grant asylum yet.
It says in this notice that I received today that I can apply if i was recommended for approval, so what the hell just happened if that's exactly what I did?

EAD approved in 12 days
EB3, ROW

9 July 2018: Mailed I-765, I-140(premium processing) and I-485 to Nebraska
11 July 2018: USCIS received combo application
23 July 2018: I-140 Approved with premium processing (12days)
23 July 2018: I-765 Approved (***12days, yes this is NOT a mistake/error in date)

(*** Did not expect it to be this quick since everyone was waiting 4-6 months for their EAD card. The rumor I heard is that if you submit I-140 with premium processing and USCIS sees that your H1B is expiring, USCIS approves your I-765 with your I-140)

26 July 2018: Received notification that I-765 card was mailed out
27 July 2018: Received approval notice for I-765 and I-131.
***On USCIS website, I-131 still says “my fees were waived”. Inaccurate description on website
27 July 2018: USCIS notified that EAD Card was picked up by USPS. ETA: 07/30/18 8pm
30 July 2018: Received EAD/AP Card in the mail today!

should i double apply for DACA EAD and C9 EAD? :/
so my previous EAD was C33 category for DACA but I am currently renewing to C9 EAD (married to a US citizen).

My immigration lawyer said to wait but he has also told me that if I am impatient... I can just renew my DACA (which is totally unnecessary other than the purpose of EAD).

The reason is because he has two clients that renewed their DACA / EAD and received their card within ONE MONTH!!!! He said he has never seen EAD being processed and mailed that fast before.

Should I just pay the extra fee and double file it for DACA as well?

Currently I have I-485 pending (I don't need to do the interview because I am going straight to the immigration court and the judge will make the decision). My court date is coming up in October 2018 but since most judges quit / transferred, my immigration court date my be delayed.

Did anyone have similar experience? File i-765 by being married to USC while also file another under DACA renewal??? If you did DACA renewal EAD did you get yours that fast... within 1-3 months?

The current EAD expiration is coming up soon and this waiting game is frustrating me... and i'm worried I may have to wait as long as 300+ days like some people on this forum have stated :(

Please Help! USPS lost my package.
So, my EAD status showed "New card is in production. We ordered your new card" . The following day I checked my USPS informed delivery and found that I had a package(priority mail) to be delivered but didn't know what went wrong with those guys, try telling me they can't find my package and didn't know the sender but it's coming from Wisconsin. I called USCIS to know if it was the EAD card but the rep. Doesn't sound like she even know what she's saying but said the status would change to "card has been mailed" when they mailed it. But I've seen people on here that there status doesn't change from we ordered your card before getting it. Please, do USCIS send out tracking number too to applicants when card has been mailed or just USPS?
Now I can't even file a claim as I was told the package got insurance thus claim can't be filed....I'm so worried now. Any advice on what to do will be greatly appreciated!
