EAD EXPIRING
My EAD will expire on August 9, and my boss haven't said anything to me about it. Should i be the one to mention it to her. i applied for a renewal but it is processing according to my status. Can i just continue to work after the expire date if she doesn't say anything?

How early should you apply for EAD? How do you let your employer know about your job status?
So I applied mine ~4.1 months before my current EAD expiration date.

I keep searching the website and some websites says 90 days, 120 days, and some 180 days.

But I believe OPT cannot apply before 90 days. Rest can apply 120 days earlier... and under certain category, some people can apply 180 days earlier.

:/ I feel like they should allow everyone to apply 180 days earlier if its going to take this long... to have the job/financial security.

When did everyone apply for their EAD's (3 months ahead, 4 months ahead, or 6 months ahead)?

I showed my employer that I applied early enough.. like 123 days before expiration.

Instant regret that I did not apply 180 days earlier if I knew there was this much delays in the EAD card.

How do you guys talk to the HR and your employer/boss if your EAD is expiring but like you have have additional 1 month delay?

I have been working for ~6 months but HR has been kind always reminding me that my card is expiring soon in September 2018. I haven't told my boss yet since I still have ~1.2 month before expiration. I applied 123 days before expiration. My lawyer thinks if there is any delay (which there may be....) it will be most likely another 1 month of delay.

How do you guys handle with HR/boss about EAD delay given that you have applied 120+ days earlier before expiration? How do you communicate with your boss and HR to take on leave and not be terminated of employment? Anyone have experiences and can give me advise? I really do not want to lose my job. : ( Counting down the days have been really stressful for me.

This is my first job that I got after graduating from university. And I do not know how to approach this topic. I still have 1 more week left before it is 1 month before expiration... and I want my boss to know 1 month ahead. I have been thinking how to approach it but it is just stressful even thinking about it. Please advise :( greatly appreciated!!

Hey, Any Feb filers got their EADs yet? PD 02/12/2018 still nothing.... i dont even know what to do. To call lv 2 officer or to go to an infopass. Not like that'd do anything to speed up my EAD process. I heard that march filers have been geting their EADs recently.

EAD/ I 485
I just want to share my experience because I’ve found lot of help from this forum.
I 485 was received by the end of May,2018
I 765 was sent the same time with I 485 but got returned and sent out the new application, was received on June 5th,2018.
Biometrics for both done by the end of June.
I requested expedite in June 15 for EAD and they asked me to fax them proof to prove my case meets the expedite request. However their fax number didn’t work at all, always busy or no response. I was so frustrated and desperated since my current EAD is going to expire in Aug, I then found that ppl contact their congressman to get help to contact Uscis. Then I went to my state Senate office ( I went to both Senators office since each state has 2 Senators) and asked them to help me fax my proof to uscis.
Later on July 15 I received RFE for my I485 so my I 765 was put on hold as well. I mailed evidence to them on July 25th.
This morning, my I 485 status changed to RFE was received. I 765 status still nothing changed. And I checked it again just now my I 765 status has changed to new card is being produced.
I know that it’s very stuck with this waiting game but stay strong and do whatever you are capable of. God will hear your voice.
