Combo card
Hi all,

I'm a F2A filer. Here is my timeline:

8/27/2018 - I-130 filed
8/30/2019 - I-485 I-131 I-765 received by USCIS
10/5/2019 - Biometric appointment completed
10/23/2019 - 1-130 approved

 - my question here is on 3/5/2020, I received another mail sent from USCIS saying that fingerprints relating to my Form I-131 have been applied to my case.

 - This is wired because I already received the 3 mails notifying me USCIS had applied my fingerprints to my cases (485\131\765) on 10/5/2019 and web site was updated at the same time. I've been waiting for my COMBO card for about 7 months now since I finished the biometric appointment, I wonder does the new mail I received on 3/5/2020 mean that my previous waiting time is cleared off so that I need to wait another 7 or 8 months for my EAD and AP card?

Thank you guys in advance and hope you all are well!

Case ready to schedule interview
Hi all,

Today my case was updated to “case ready to be scheduled for interview .”

For everyone who got the same message:

1- How long did you wait before an appointment has been decided?
2- How far was the appointment date from the update date? i.e 1 month, 2 month, etc.

Help is much appreciated

Ombudsman response
Hello,

So Ombudsman came back with this update:

In response to our inquiry, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) indicated that your case is under active review. However, USCIS is unable to provide a specific timeframe for resolution of the case.

What does this mean?

ead no ssn
have applied for ssn along with H4 ead.

EAD got approved on March 4.received on March 10 , in attorneys address. No updates on SSN yet.

While I called the local ssn office,no entry was created for me, they asked me send the ssn application along with EAD card.

I did so,But no updates on it. When I called the office again, they told me to wait untill the offices are opened.

I dont know what to do ,its difficult for applying for new job as well. Anybody have similiar experience ?

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!

Based of what you guys are seeing, how is EAD processing moving after Covid? The same, slower, faster?

EAD - is this timeline normal?
Hi everyone, based on your recent experiences, is the following normal and when can I expect my EAD card to be approved? Is everything even slower at USCIS service centers because of COVID?

My paper receipts have slightly different dates from my online USCIS account.

My online account records are as follows:

- i485, i130, i131 and i765 received at National Benefits Center on Nov 9, 2019 (I am spouse of US citizen btw)
- Biometric appointment in early December
- Dec 3, 2020 - i765 fingerprints and i485 fingerprints completed
- January 3 2020 - request for evidence requested
- January 29, 2020 - evidence received
- March 5, 2020 - i131 fingerprints completed
- April 2, 2020 - Case ready to be scheduled for interview

So far I have no news regarding my interview date, which is to be expected due to field office closures. But, will this also affect my EAD progress or based on the experience of others can I expect this in next month or two?

Thanks!!!
