Hello,
We just received the news that our EAD is approved. It was an E-2 EAD renewal (no interview required). According to the USCIS website the timeline for these cases is/was 7-9 months.
RD - 20 Jan 2020 (Califorina)
New card being produced - April 14th
Case approved - April 15th
Hoping to receive card within next 7 days.
this means the turnaround times at USCIS for these cases have definitely decreased as ours was approved within 3 months.

Waiting for SSN
If you are still waiting for your social security number it is work giving your local office a call.
My EAD was issued on 3/16, but after two weeks I still had not received my SSN, so I rang my local office (Trenton, NJ) but they had not record and said that SSN issued as part of an EAD application were not processed locally but out of an office in Maryland.
I rang back today and the local office was able to see that my SSN application had been processed and they could (after I proved my identity) give me my number over the phone.
Good luck.

Hi guys,
Yesterday I received SSN, 28 days after COMBO card.
Few days ago I called SSA and they told me it might take up
to 8 weeks to recevie a card and there is nothing we need to do.
They didn't even ask me my name, only in case I don't get after 8 weeks
I need to call them.
Just be patient and good luck to everyone who waits!

expediting EAD
I just want to share this for people out there that may benefit from knowing.
Last week I requested on the phone to expedite my EAD due to job offer. They submitted my request. 5 working days later I still heard nothing back about RFE or fax evidence (they notified my by email that my request was being reviewed). I called up the service agent and they said it is still being considered. Just so people know they may not get a response by email in 5 days is all

Hey y’all . How long does it takes to get the tracking number from USCIS. I got the updated saying it was mailed out but haven’t received any tracking information.. where would I get the tracking information? Does anyone know thank you . Be safe out here y’all . Hi All!
I sent the documents for my EAD renewal and received the notice of action (797c) on February 11.
My EAD expires on 5/14/2020. Can I get a job with that notice? I am about to get a job offer and my card still didnt arrive.
