my timeline
Nebraska office based on C 08 pending asylum. (had to wait 150 days from the date of filing the case to apply for the EAD card)

April 14: Case received
..............
countless service requests, expedite requests, talking to lvl 2 officers and once contacted a congressman, all didn't help.
..............
August 15: Card is being produced (4:50 pm)
August 18: Card is mailed (late Friday)
August 22: Card in hand.

total 129 days.

next will apply for the SSN, they say it takes from as fast as 4 days up to 2 weeks, will see.

but i see cases are moving faster now......GOOD LUCK all.

i have a question for people who did asylum too, what's next regarding the asylum case? can i track what will happen with the same receipt number in USCIS site or it has to be followed up by the lawyer?

one advice for anyone who didn't file for the card yet and is going to:
DO IT YOURSELF AND SAVE THE LAWYER FEES, YOU WILL NEED THIS MONEY WHILE YOU ARE WAITING FOR THE CARD, LAWYERS ARE A.HOLES THEY JUST FILL THE FORM AND MAIL IT, FORMAS ARE AVAILABLE WITH A DETAILED INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO FILL IT AND FREE ONLINE, ANYONE CAN DO IT.....I wish someone had told me that before.

EAD timeline
Hi everyone, I wanted to share my timeline for EAD card
I had applied for I485, I130, I765 at the same time though marriage to a USC. i was under F1 OPT status until July 26, 2017. I had taken a lawyer (which was a waste), who suggested to apply for green card through marriage and get work permit through it (c9) instead of applying for EAD renewal from school. She said I cannot apply for EAD through marriage and EAD renewal at the same time, which I later found was false. So, I suggest people with my situation to apply for both EADs. Anyways, here is my timeline.

April 27, 2017: Notice of receipt for all forms - Day 0
July 12, 2017: Request for expedite I765 - Day 76
July 13, 2017: Expedite on hold as no bio-metrics done - Day 77
July 14, 2017: Received notice for bio-metrics on Aug 1, 2017 - Day 78
July 24, 2017: Infopass appointment, got bio-metrics appointment for next day - Day 88
July 25, 2017: Bio-metrics done - Day 89
July 27, 2017: Called and requested again for expedite for I765 (reason: financial loss to company and individual) - Day 91
July 28, 2017: Letter requiring me to fax documents as proof - Day 92
Aug 4, 2017: sent all documents via fax (I received the letter dated july 28 on aug 3) - Day 99
Aug 10, 2017: called again and asked for the status, and requested to get email instead of mail - Day 105
Aug 11, 2017: got email that my case is under review - Day 106
Aug 15, 2017; got impaitent and faxed senator of state to request to expedite my case - Day 110
Aug 16, 2017: Finally I765 status changed to card being produced (dont think it was due to senator) - Day 111
Aug 18, 2017: Card being sent - Day 113
Aug 21, 2017: USPS alert that card was actually sent on this date - Day 116
Aug 23, 2017: finally got my card! - Day 118

It also included my AP. I got a notice about my AP a few days back that it got approved. Nothing changed for my AP status online though.

Sharing my timeline
Hey everyone,
just want to share my experience, maybe somebody will find this helpful
c-8 eligibility
Nebraska service center
Case was received May 17
Card is being produced August 16 (91days)
Card was mailed August 18
Card in hand August 22

I’ve been a silent spectator here guys for a while, and other people’s experiences was the only information I had, so that is why I’m sharing this here.
I used mycasetracker.org - I can trust it now, as I used to compare stats I’ve seen there with the changes in my case.
I understand that a lot of you guys wait much more then I did and I just got little luckier than somebody, but keep hope alive and wait. You’re almost there guys, don’t give up! Thank God!

LAST E-MAIL I RECEIVED FROM THEM WAS:
The expediting of a case allows it to be sent quickly to an officer for adjudication. However, your case is currently under review by an officer. We have notified the officer reviewing your case of your expedite request, however it is their discretion to grant the expedite. Please contact us again if you do not receive the document or other correspondence within the 30 day time frame.
ANYBODY ELSE EXPERIENCING SAME DELAY?
THANK YOU! AND GOOD LUCK!

The EAD wait game
Hi

I applied based on pending asylum. Application received April 17th.
Called customer care after 75 days. Told to wait
Called again after 110 days to expedite. No reassurances. Still told to wait
126 days, clearly frustrated I called congressman office, logged in my complaint. Filled in the privacy form.
Today, 130 days later, card is being produced.
My only prayer is that it is a 2 year work permit.
