my EAD takes so long
I applied for my EAD and Greencard at the same time in Jan and the application was received on Jan 10th 2017.

My biometric was done on Feb 15th 2017.

But until now there nothing new on the website nor in the mail. I called USCIS and they told me to continue to wait.

I'm quite worried. It is nearly 90 days .. Should I call them again? .

EAD Timeline based on concurrent filing
December 12, 2016- mailed I-485, I-765, 1-130 and I-131 to USCIS

December 26,2016 - Got texts from USCIS acknowledging receipt with PD December 14,2016. Got official receipt notice about 3 days later.

December 14, 2016 - Day 0.

January 20, 2017- Biometrics appointment.

February 27, 2017(Day 75) - Called Customer service to place a service request

March 15, 2017 (Day 91)- Called customer service to check the status of my request. I asked to speak with an immigration officer who told me that they contacted me via email that my case was currently being processed. I never got that email. Check my spam etc. They said to give them another 30 days to process.

March 15, 2017 (Day 91)- I called the senators office and explained that I had been out of work since I was waiting for the approval. They said they would send an email to USCIS and get back to me in about a week or two.

March 22, 2017 ( Day 98)- Called the senators office again. They assured me that they are pursuing my case and still waiting for a response.

March 27, 2017 (Day 103)- Called the senators office yet again letting them know about my financial situation. This time she placed a direct call and told me to expect approval soon.

March 28, 2017 (Day 104)- Status changed to "New card being produced" . Status on my AP application still showed "Received on December 14,2016)

April 3, 2017 (Day 110)- Received two official notices by mail. One for EAD and the other for AP.

April 5, 2017 (Day 112)- Status changed to 'Card was mailed to me" . However the online status on my AP never changed.

April 8, 2017 (Day 115)- Received combo card in mail.

I do not know if I would have received it at the same time if the senators office did not place a call. I think the call really helped since I got approval the very next day. My status for the AP still shows " Case was received". Goodluck everyone. It seems since this new rule became effective, they are not worried about processing cases fast. The wait was so frustrating. Now it's time to wait on my i-485 application. Apparently, my processing office takes about a year. Sorry for the long timeline!

EAD Card Mailed But Not Received
EAD Application Received: 17th Jan 2017
Ordered New Card: 14th March 2017
Approved: 16th March 2017
Card Mailed: 20th March 2017

Still waiting for the card to show up in my mail. It has been 3 full weeks of waiting for the card. I know most people get it in 3-5 business days post the "card mailed" notification.

What options do I have now to figure out the delay and get the card?

Card produced but not mailed
Hello
This is my situation
12/7/16 -case received date
12/10/16- biometrics appt scheduled
1/3/17- daca approval notice

below I see my EAD case status:
Status: Closed
Status Message: USCIS has produced your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) and mailed it to the address you provided.
Pending Action: None

It has been over 120 days since the 12/7/16 "case received" date. I called uscise to speak to a representative, and they say the card has been produced, but not sent. So why does it say so in my case status message that they mailed it to the address I provided? I'm worrying, tbh. Does anybody know what's going on?

I also moved on Jan. 1st, so I'm worried it didn't get forwarded in time and I lost the card.

L2 EAD
Hi folks,

I have been following this forum for a while and it's been helpful, so sharing what I did. I filed for an L2 EAD renewal concurrently with L2 extension.

Application received: Feb 9th (by this time my L2 extension had been approved through premium processing)
March 11th: Mailed in a letter with a request for expedite along with the notice of L2 approval. Severe financial loss was the reason - I had to resign from my job (which they were willing to hold for a few weeks).
March 13th: request received by California center
April 5th: Called to request status of expedite service. It had been three weeks since my previous EAD had expired and I was worried about how much longer I could keep my employer waiting. The customer service representative was very polite and helpful but could not give me an update as to whether my expedite request was being processed. She did read out a generic notice that typically an expedite request will get a response in 5 days but it may take longer. And it's only the director of the center who can approve it. She said she didn't have any more information but if I wanted to call the CSC center I could try. Turns out it's the same number!
I hung up, came back and read a post again from another poster in this forum about how he had successfully gotten his expedited. So decided to try again! I called back. This time the lady asked me if the previous person had registered an SR. Again explained the full circumstances and she was sympathetic and noted an SR. She told me that she had noted this as a 2nd service request, that the first one had not been responded to despite it being nearly 3 weeks plus the details of my case.
Like everyone else I have been checking the status 4 times a day! and it stayed "Case received"
April 7th: Just now minutes ago, I saw it change to "new card being produced". It skipped the whole approved stage and I hope I get it soon!

A couple of things:
1. My lawyer was very discouraging about the expedite request. I pushed him to do it and he did the minimum (literally copy pasted my reasons from my email).
2. He kept telling me USCIS can take any amount of time to respond, which is technically correct. But there is more responsiveness at times post an SR and frankly, the customer reps were really nice even though they have limited ability to make any changes!
3. There's no harm in asking.

This makes my whole process under 60 days (still have to receive card) which is around the same amount of time as the first time around!

I don't know if the SR helped but I am inclined to believe it did given general timelines I have heard. In a way, the failure to respond to the first expedite request ended up being in my favor cause I guess in their system it meant they hadn't done something. Or maybe it was just my time cause this batch got processed (they do it in batches and not sequentially is my understanding.)

Anyway, thanks for everyone who posted their experience. It's what urged me to be more aggressive about the expedite! Now fingers crossed my card comes next week so I can get back to work.

Good luck!
