L2 EAD extension
Hi,

We filed for L2 EAD extension on 4th November, 2016 at Missouri (MSC). Then, got biometrics appointment. Then, RFE was asked. We replied with the evidence. And then, the case got transferred to a different office "Vermont" due to work load.

Now it says "Name was updated" since March 6th. No update after that. Anybody else in the same situation?

Thanks!

Hi,

I filled my AOS on Dec 9th through a lawyer. monday is my interview which is March 27th.

As per my discussion with him, he wont be allowed to talk or discuss anything over there. His presence is completely based on my confortness.

my wife, my daughter and myself will be there at the interview. my wife and myself thinking we can manage ourselfs. let me know if someone attended the interview without the lawyer.

TIA.

EAD processing after biometrics
Hey guys, just had my biometrics yesterday for my I-485 and I-765, I'm just wondering now how long it generally takes after that to get a decision on the EAD?

Filed at the Chicago lockbox, and I've got an MSC receipt number. Just trying to puzzle out whether it goes quicker now after the biometrics have been done or whether it's still going to take a while!

Thanks!

New EAD on J2
Hi all,

Thought I'd share my timeline for you for my EAD on J2 visa (no AOS)

Jan 25th - Case received
Jan 30th - Receipt of case received in mail, no biometrics.
March 20th - Case updated online to New card is being produced.

Shorter time frame than I was expecting but still a tedious process of waiting.

Good luck to everyone!

Concurrent filing at MSC - delayed EAD
Hi guys,

I just checked the history process time on USCIS and just found about i-765 that they separated the concurrent filing category out from the basis on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)] but added into on "basis of an approved, CONCURRENTLY FILED, I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (c)(33)." which shows 124 days process as of the date, not 90 days.

This is why people who filed concurrently got their EAD delayed or case pending over 100 days.

I felt USCIS is so inefficient!!!!!!!

e-Request system no longer has Form i-765
Did anyone notice that form i-765 is no longer on the list of the e-Request system? That only suggests that USCIS no longer wants to hear about EAD cases taking more than 90 days to process! How unprofessional is that?
