I need help on my EAD!!!
OCT. 6 2014- Applied for I-765 EAD
OCT.10 2014- Biometrics
 i havent heard nothing frome USCIS in Vermont tomorow Jan.6 2014 will be 3 months and still nothing, idk what to do someone have the same situation and stressing because i really need my job plz help : (

Hi,
I have applied EAD for my wife today and sent the documents from USPS
Priority express. With the documents we have sent two small size photographs
Does it will affect the EAD approval ?
Should we wait for there reply ?

I am an asylee and applied for EAD in the end of November, 2014,

USCIS received my application on Dec 1st, 2014 and issued me receipt number (Note that we cannot track EAD or any application status online if case is asylum).

Usually processing time is 3 weeks for EAD in asylum cases but I didn't get any I-797 form or EAD card yet.

Can someone please tell me if this is getting delayed because of Christmas vacations or processing time is taking long nowadays.

Sep 20: applied n paid online. Got my case number

September 22: sent the following docs in courier with the cover letter and the confirmation page I got after epayment.
Mine n my husband's(L1 holder):-
•Passport copy (front n back page, visa stamped page)
•I94
•copy of our marriage certificate
•copy of my husband's job posting letter
•2 copies of my photographs

September 24:courier delivered

Meanwhile I also created a login ID n registered to get the status in mail n mobile

October 3: got I797

October 6:got biometrics date

October 8: address change done online

October 16:biometric done

December 17:case approved n card under production

December 21:got approval mail

December 24:card mailed

December 26:card received:)

Just be patient n your case will be approved within 90 days. Mine took 83 days to get approved n approximately 90 days to receive the card.

My EAD was approved and dispatched by USCIS through priority mail. I got the tracking number for the same and I tracked it up to delivery.

It shows it delivered to me yesterday on 23rd Dec at 1:23 pm. but I never got it. I checked with USPS, they said it is delivered. I checked the next apartment also which has almost same address ( 1225 and 1255). but it's not delivered there also. I am very upset now and don't know what to do. Checked similar incidence in this forum and found out that the it is not possible to track it and USCIS won't help in this case.

Can anybody guide me in this situation, please.

I would like to mention here one thing that..I have changed my address in last month for the further processing. But due to some reason my earlier mails were returned to USCIS by post office.

But my EAD was mailed to my old address by USCIS, which is now lost. I checked this with USPS today and they confirmed me that its delivered to my old address. I checked there also. But of no use.

Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.

I renewed my application about a month ago. I done did my biometrics, I don't work but I recently noticed that my ID permit was missing and I looked up that I had to renew the application form and pay the fees for it. I am stuck on the question
11. Have you ever applied for employment authorization from USCIS?
would I put yes? and if I do on the next question I have to answer; Which USCIS office

I sent an application for renewal of EAD that was received by USICS on Oct 20th. It has been about two months and I've recieved nothign else. Not even an appointment for biometrics, I was told before it's probably because they don't need my fingerprints... but it shouldn't take this long if they don't need biometrics and it's just a renewal. Is the vermont service center really slow right now??

I have applied for renewal of my EAD on Nov 29th. I got mail from USCIS on DEC1st stating they received my document. My current EAD expires on 31st DEC. I am working currently. I am bit tensed that I would have to take leave without pay until I get my renewal J2 EAD. I couldn't apply in advance because I got my DS2019 forms(supporting doc for extension) late.

How long will it take to process renewal of EAD card?

My I-765 filed on 7th Oct and got approved on 26th Nov, status changed to "Card was mailed to me" on 2nd Dec, when should I expect my physical card to get delivered, they have not provided any tracking number etc.

I recently filed for my EAD card.
I noticed that I didnt write my name on the check (amount: $380.00). The check has my i-94 number written on it.
I would appreciate if any of you can tell me if it can create any problems in further processing of my EAD card ??
