Hi,

Any one has any idea how long NSC takes to process RFE (ability to pay and pay stub) response?
USCIS received RFE response on Nov 26 2018.
On Dev 14, online status changed to Name was updated. Since then no any update.
Raised SR on Feb 1st but still not assigned for processing.

Then there is no update since, When do i expect my EAD card guys help pls, and what's next updates coming? Thank you

Hi,

At the time of my I-485 filing I was in a State A and got the interview call after 1.5 years and I am in State B. Interview is in the field office of State B. Although I have notified USCIS about my address change,

1. Should I inform the IO about the address change to correct the form I-485 ?
2. Should I produce the proof of the current residence (leasing agreement/DL) to IO ?

Please let me know if any one of you went through this situation. Thank you in advance.

I submitted my i-485,1-140, 1-131 and i765 on october 25th 2018

PD: January 15th 2018 (PERM)

As of today I just completed the fingerprints in January 30th. I havent gotten any updated on i765 or i131. This process is so annoying.

Any ideas?

I submitted concurrent EB1B in mid Dec and i140 got approved in early Jan. Yesterday I got 2 simultaneous updates on my i485:
1. Your case is transferred to other office
2. Case is transferred to my local office

My understanding is that (1) means it went to NBC. And once NBC processes it, case will go to local office. Is update (2) an error? Has anyone got similar simultaneous transfer updates? Thanks.

I attended I-485 interview (EB1C) and IO asked just current job responsibility and went through 485 all YES/NO question. My attorney was with me and in last IO asked do you have any other doc to submit and offered below documents to IO but forget to Submit last 3 years W2/Tax return and last 3 months pay stubs, do you think it will create issue ? IO did not asked any specific documents to submit....

Doc submitted today:

1. Medical's report of all applicants
2. Employment verification letter
3. Supplement J
4. I-94 of all applicants
5. Arrival/Departure dates of all applicants

There was some issue in their system and they just completed the interview for Picture/Thumb impression they gave next date after a couple of days to just finish Identity verification on different window. What should I do ? can I submit W2/tax return and pay stubs when go for Identity verification scheduled date? guys please suggest I am little bit worry for not summitted W2/tax return and paystubs....

Application sent via FeDex 1/29/19 got SMS from USCIS and Receipt # for EAD/AP and Finger print 485 on Feb 7

next step?

I applied for i485 in jan 2017. In november 2018 i was called for interview and they put my case under review and I should wait for 120 days for their response. Between Jan 2017 and November 2018, priority date changed twice and I opened SR many times and response was my case is pre-adjudicated and waiting for priority date to be current.

I recently opened SR again and today I got reply that " My I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status is currently pending adjudication"

Any idea how come my case was pre-adjudicated and now again pending adjudication?

 any one in similar situation?

I would like to first of all thank and Praise Jesus Christ for granting us our Green Card.
We have been waiting for 11 years and finally, God granted our request in His time. Praise God!

Our Field office was Hartford Field office.

I thought Hartford field office was a slow field office and was planning to move to another state where the timings are fast.
But God's plan was even better. He gave me interview in Hartford field office itself.

Our time lines
 1. July 02, 2018 Mailed the I 485, I 131, I 765 for me, wife and son(3 years)

 2. Biometrics Appointment(Walk In) , July 25, 2018

 3. Nov 02, 2018 - I 765 and I 131 approved for me and my wife

 4 Nov 14, 2018 - Got the combo cards in mail for me and my wife

  
 5. Nov 16, 2018 - Son's I 765 and I 131 is approved. {but card never came]

 6 Nov 22,2018 - I 485 - Case Ready to be scheduled for the Interview

 7. Nov 26, 2018 - Interview Scheduled

 8 . Dec 01, 2018 - Interview letter received

     Praying: To get a kind IO and make the interview smooth

 9. Jan, 2019 - Interview
-- Got the Kindest IO possible.
-- Approved on the Spot
-- Got the plastic cards on the 5th day

Interview Experience (Employment Based)

Me, wife and son came to the office around 9:25 AM. 9:30 was the interview.
Very nervous. Went to the reception and gave the appointment letters. After some time, the receptionist called again for taking the photos.
He mispronounced my last name. Went there and gave the driving license and he took the photo. After that took my wife's photo.
Came back to the waiting area and sat.

Few minutes went by. Son wanted to play with our wedding rings. I took the rings from him and he started crying.
Lo and Behold! An officer is standing in front of us and he was looking playfully at my son.
I initially thought, the officer came there to scold me as my son was crying.

In fact, that was our IO!

He didn't call our names. He had our photographs and he came to find us in the waiting room..
He escorted us to his office.
We were still nervous.
The IO understood that and told that he know that we have a small child and he will try to make it short and sweet as possible.
IO also told that children under 14 are not required to attend the interview.
We wanted to point out some corrections. He noted them down.
He asked the basic questions in I 485 to both of us.
Then asked how long I have been working with the Company and my salary.
He then verified whether a visa number is available. He said it is available and told that he is approving the case right away!!!!
IO occasionally cracked some jokes to make us feel comfortable.
And praise God, we got the plastic cards in mail after about 5 days.

Only 1 minor problem happened:
The correction which we pointed out for my wife didnt actually get corrected in the Plastic Card. So, we have submitted an I 90 for replacing the card for my wife.

Other than that, everything went very smooth and God has granted us our prayer requests. Thank you Jesus!
