Hi,
We just completed our EB1 485 interview last week.
At the end of the interview we got a document as Results - in which its mentioned - " Your case is under review - as of now we don't need any more info. If we need more info or document we will send you a notice via mail or call for a second interview. Otherwise a final decision will be mailed once your case is complete.
Has anyone received an interview result like this.

10/2018: Fingerprint completed
My application was sent from SF Bay Area. My case is being processed in NBC.
Since then, complete silence. Combo card not received yet. Anybody else in the same boat? Is it normal for combo card to be issued for 5+ months?

7/2017: PD and filling I-140 (non-concurrent)
9/2017: I-140 approved
1/2018: I-485, I-131, and I-765 (my wife and mine) received
2/2018: Bio-appointment
4/2018: We transferred your applications to another office that has jurisdiction on your applications
5/2018: EAD cards received for both of us
9/2018 ready for an interview
11/2018: another update which is the same previous one "ready for an interview"
1/2018: the two aforementioned updates of ready for interview are "GONE", now the update is just we moved your application to the new office that has jurisdiction on 4/2018. I received notice via email and text for both of us. I knew they are wrong but I got tired of these actions.
Still waiting and frustrated for the interview ...

Case transferred to another office after interview
Hi everyone i'am looking for the expert opinion
After waiting 6 months after interview, Status changed to Interview completed and must be reviewed to "Case Transferred to another Office " , i don't understand why they Transferred my case? does it mean that interview was success and case has been pre-adjudicated ? My Priority date is current, Have anyone got similar updates? interview was pretty simple What can i expect next ? waiting for the physical letter,

After receiving green card case went to initial review.
I received my green card as primary applicant on dec 28.
My wife’s green card is still pending.
Today morning my and my wife’s case both went to initial review.
Not sure what is going on but how can I receive initial review after receiving green card? Also the date doesn’t make sense to me it says
On May 17, 2018, we transferred your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number, to another USCIS office.
That office now has jurisdiction over your case.
We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case.
Please follow the instructions in the notice.
If you do not receive your notice by June 16, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice.

I really thing my lawyer did not gave me the best guidance, I have been reviewing USCIS rules and as per 1/1/2017 employment letter is not enough and supplement J should be submitted with application and also to recommend me to wait until interview to provide I 693 when I could it have it done by the time he submitted I 485 and I 765 and maybe I would not be waiting for approval.
Anyway, anybody else going through the same or similar case?

I had my interview in April 2018 (EB3) at Chicago field office and the officer issued an RFE for my I-20's. The REF responded on 5/11/2018. So far, there is no update though my PD has become current since October 2018.
Anyone in the same boat?

One SR issued in November 2018 and I got a generic response in December 2018 saying they could not provide me further information at that time.

Receipt number
Hello Everyone,
I have the question on how does the receipt number works.
I filed on January 5th with priority date is March 2010 so, I have receipt number as MIS199089089. Someone filed for downgrade from EB2 to EB3 who has priority date as January 2010 on January 5th (Same day as mycase) who got receipt number as MIS199089093.
In this case, when Green Card date gets current, does he get first priority since he has higher priority date or it goes by receipt number?
I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question.

I had my interview this week. They checked everything and said they will recommend for approval, but my priority date is not current. So they gave me visa regressed letter. My priority date is Mar 2017. Any idea what this means and when i will get my GC?
