Thank you all, good people posting here! You kept me sane.
Good luck to those still waiting. I've bounced back and forth, from hope to despair but eventually it all comes together. Hang in there, your day will come!

As a side note - I was wondering if a case status can update after hours. I assumed 9 to 5 update times. My GC status updated after 9PM - either overtime or update delay.

Cards did not arrive
Priority Date Dec 28, 2017, Category EB-2, Chargeability ROW
We went through interview on November 20, 2018. The interview was very quick like 20-25 minutes and got the letter saying the case is recommended for approval. We got the approval letters on November 28, 2018. The online status is saying the case was approved only for my wife but we have the approval notices on paper for everyone so it might be a system glitch. In fact the app is saying the case is approved for my wife and my son also. I am only worried because the card did not arrived so far neither got any update that the card is produced/mailed. Is that a standard practice? I am not sure why would cards take this much long to arrive. Is there anyone who went through the same?

Sept 4th Interview. Complete silence from USCIS
Hi everyone, we're applying for a EB-2 GreenCard. Our interview was on September 4th in Newark, and it went pretty well.

At the end of the interview, they gave me a paper that says: Your I-485 interview is complete. However your priority date is not current at this time. Your case will be transferred to the Texas Service Center or National Benefits Center until your priority date becomes current. Once your priority date becomes current, the TSC or NBC will make the final decision on your case.

My current case status is: Case Was Transferred and a New Office Has Jurisdiction.

My lawyer placed a service request on November 1st. An answer was expected by November 26th, which didn't happen. My lawyer says this is normal given the volume at the beginning months of the fiscal year, however I'm kinda of getting worried about it.

Anyone else in a similar situation? Any advices?

Thanks!

The interview took about 20 minutes. IO was really friendly and professional, she asked of my ID, Sup J, Employment letter, I-94, when last I entered the country, birth certificates for the whole family (Wife and 2 kids) and finally my wife and I, all the yes/No questions in I-485 application.
Then she said she will approve the case before the end on the day since our case is current. I took all the document I could lay my hands on, but at the end, IO asked just for a few (its better to be prepared than to be sorry)
If you are still waiting, I encourage you to hold on everything will be ok. The timeline from this forum will help you keep everything in perspective. All cases are different, some fast, some slow and some really really slow.
Wishing You All The Best.

I had carried Supplement J but she didn't take it as mine was concurrent filing and no change in job.

Now will have to wait until I hear back from USCIS.

Best wishes to you all.

We finally received our green cards. I filed I-140 in 2017 and got the approval in 3.5 month. Then, my wife and I filed I-485 together in 2018. Here are the dates for I-485, in case it might be helpful.

February 14, 2018: Case Was Received
February 14, 2018: Fingerprint Fee Was Received
April 4, 2018: Fingerprint Review Was Completed
May 14, 2018: Case Transferred To Another Office
May 14, 2018: Case Was Received At My Local Office
May 15, 2018: Fingerprint Review Was Completed
May 16, 2018: Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction
October 19, 2018: Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview
October 21, 2018: Interview Was Scheduled
November 26, 2018: Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed
November 26, 2018: New Card Is Being Produced
November 27, 2018: Case Was Approved
December 1, 2018: Card Was Mailed To Me
December 6, 2018: Card Was Received in the Mail

The interview was in Lawrence, MA. It took ~45 minutes and was super easy. The officer only asked basic questions regarding my job and our marriage. Then, he said he was going to approve the case, which he did later that day based on status update (but note that the online website updates 24-48 hours later, so be patient!)

Good luck all :)

Docs for interview
Hi,

Do we need to carry evidence to demonstrate spousal relationship, such as joint bank account statements, bills or letters addressed to you both, photographs, etc. even for employment based green card filing?

My husband and I are both working on H1b and we have filed employment based gc appplication. We are confused if we have to carry such docs.

“Case reopened” for my wife’s I765
Hi everyone,

Wanted to share my experience and also ask about my concern! My timeline:
7/19/18: USCIS received I485, I765, I131 application (EB2 NIW - ROW) for me and my wife
12/4/18: Both my and wife’s status for I765 changed to “Case approved”. Same day status for both of us to “Card is being produced”. Then on same day my wife’s case status to “Case reopened”
12/7/18: Received approval notice of EAD/AP card for both of us
12/8/18: Received my EAD/AP combo card but not my wife’s
No news on interview yet!! Processing office: NBC

What do you think might have happened to my wife’s case? Never received RFE nor asked by me to change anything on the application! Why would they reopen her case after the status change to “card is being produced”? Should I just wait or give them a call to ask about it? Has anybody gone through such experience?
