EB1
I am in EB1 India with a PD of July 2017. With all that is going, how likely is it that I will receive a green card by the end of the year? EB1 ROW became current, 52k visas were given to EB, and demand has reduced, and trumps would.

Admin Error
Hi all,

I had my interview at the Atlanta office on 3/16 and got a status update on 4/1 saying my interview was cancelled. I called the USCIS hotline and they said it was an administrative error and told me not to worry about it and just wait for my PD to be current.

My PD is 10/19/18 and the date for final action on the May bulletin for my category shows 1/1/17. I'm a little confused with how retrogression work. Does the USCIS not process cases in FIFO manner? I have a friend who had his interview in June 19 and received his green card two weeks after. How did he get his so quickly when there were older cases to be processed?

Also, should I be concerned about the admin error? What should I do now?

Thanks in advance!

Form I944 (public charge)
Hello folks,

My I-140 was approved 2 months back and now I am in the process to submit my adjustment of status.
With the new rule, form I-944 needs to submitted as well. Does any one have any experiences on how this is to be filled or how you did it? Or should I seek help from a financial advisor? Do you know of any firm that does this?

Thank you

Processing
Now that we know this order only affects foreign nationals not physically present in the US. Is it safe to assume that GCs will process faster for those GC pending within the country. ( Myself EB1 India PD- July 2017)

President's temporary ban on GC's
Just heard about the 60 day stay on issuance of new GC's? How does this impact GC filers in with approved I-140's and just waiting for adjustment of status approval?
As an Indian on an EB1C queue (PD May 2017), do i need to care that it would add two more months to an already long 3 year wait?

Decision Letter
Hi, last Thursday, I got two letters from USCIS in my mail stating that I had become permanent resident but the top Left corner of each letter specified I-765 for one and for the the other one I-131(I haven’t received them either, the case status update shows “fee were waived” for both). My I-140 got approved in January, my I-485 is still pending (case status update shows that the case was transferred and another office has jurisdiction since Feb, 4th). I got my biometrics by end of January. So I’m basically waiting on the Interview.

I’ve seen some of you and articles saying that some interviews have been waived. Do you guys think this is my case as well? The letters I got clearly said I had become resident and they actually welcomed and congratulated me and mentioned that I should be receiving the card soon.

My attorneys haven’t received any notice from USCIS and this is what it gets me thinking.

Let me know if you guys have run into the same situation.

Eb3 category. Laid off from job

Our interview for eb3 interview got canceled two weeks ago. Now my husband got laid off from his job. We are very confused. What should we do if he does not have job when we get the interview date.
Thank you
