Finally got it!
Hi guys, this is the best forum ever!
Finally, I got my card on hand today.

The interview was in downtown LA on September 16, 2019, Hit by retrogression.
I was checking the status every single day and last Thursday the status was CHANGED!
THE CASE IS APPROVED
the next day, me. ordered a new card
The next day, the card was shipped.
Monday (today) the card is on hand.
Good luck to everyone guys, it's moving!

New Card Being Produced

Field office Fairfax, VA. Priority date October 17, 2018
Just got case status update that i-485 "New card being produced". It was a very stressful journey. This forum helped my a lot to stay motivated and never lose hope. The interview was very rough. There were too many questions regarding my job, family and finances. If you read my previous posts, I have stated what questions were asked. The only thing I can recommend is to be prepared for the interview be practicing i-485 questions. Take copies of all documents because officer will have to take copies for you, which they hate to do it. Wish everyone a good luck and stay motivated.

Kids during GC Interview
HI Friends,
We have 2 US Born Kids. My question is, are we still REQUIRED to take both of them to the Interview? I saw a youtube video about Interview exeprience and they were saying that you "MUST" take all your kids with you. This has confused me a lot as none of my 2 kids are on the GC Application as they both are US Citizens.

EB2 interview
Anybody from Philadelphia applying for employment based adjustment of status? What's your timeline? I Submit all docs in March 2019 and still waiting for interview. Interview was scheduled in November, but then cancelled. When can I expect another interview will be scheduled?

Finally the wait is over
Finally the excruciating wait is over. The wait due to retrogression was worse than wait for the interview. Below is my timeline. If anyone has any question I will be happy to answer.

Nov 8 2018: PERM approved
Jan 9 2019: I140, I485, I131 applied
Jan 15 2019: I140 approved
Feb 14 2019: Fingerprint given
April 26 2019: EAD combo card in hand
Jul 2 2019: AOS interview scheduled
Aug 19 2019: Interview at the field office
Nov 12 2019: Status changed to new card being produced
Nov 22 2019 : Card in hand
Interview experience: our interview was completely different than what we expected. We arrived a bit early and the officer called us 5 minutes early. After the regular identification and oath he asked me some simple questions. Then straight went to the I485 yes no questions. He asked me about 12-15 questions. Then turned to my wife and did the same thing. He did not ask for any documents. Our 3 month old daughter was with us in the room. The office asked her name and DOB and updated our application. The officer was really nice and the interview was much easier than expected. Then he explained about the retrogression which I had no idea, and hence the wait began.
I got my GC after my 6 years of H1B, there was a lot of ups and downs. So to all the good people who are going through this wait period, I just want to say, even though it is very difficult and often times seems impossible, the only thing that will get you through is patience and keep believing.

Thanks for wonderful experiences. I have a question my current job is differetf from the job that I am applying to get my employment based green card. Anyone knows whag type of questions will they be asking? I already provided Sup J, do I need to bring EVL from my current employer too? Any specific question for my case?

Our status was updated today as `new card is being produced` after 88 days since our interview. I hope we can got our cars in mail soon than we will buy our tickets to Europe for Christmas!!

Around 7:50pm I got the notification about approval from egov.uscis.gov website.
