EB1c - India
My PD: May 31 2017

1. I wanted to check if there are any EB1 filers with PD's after March 2017 (after interviews became compulsory for Employment Based GC's) who have received their GC's /got their I-485's approved.

2. Also could you share how long it takes for renewal of EAD/AP Combo cards from California Sevice center? i applied for renewal on 8/26/2019. When can i realistically expect to receive it?

fingerprint review after interview
Hi everyone
I am in EB 2ROW category and i had interview in august 2019 , then waiting for GC due to retrogression. All this time my status has been showing 'interview was scheduled' , over the past weekend it updated to 'fingerprint review was complete' and said we are reviewing your application .
What does this mean? Is the status supposed to change to finger print review AFTER the interview ?

Can someone with similar experience or info help with this
thanks in anticipation

Finally got it
We got GC after 11 years of wait and being 14 years in country.
EB3 row. We were called for photo and bio last year, and in Jul this year called for interview.

We were told we will get GC within 4 weeks but got GC only end of Oct due to retrogression.
I hope all of the Jul/Aug people waiting for GC go theirs now !!!
I travelled for work many times in years, and I was tired of responding to question - 'what bring you to the country' !! :) ... I was like coming back home after work related travel !! Always had good officers and with few I chatted about GC progress ... waiting for over a decade !!!

The card, the actual card we got a day before my Travel !!
This time happy to go through another line!

Wishing all of you good luck..

Category - EB 1 (self petitioner)
Country - Ukraine

First case
08/16/2017 - case submitted (premium processing)
08/30/2017 - RFE
10/28/2017 - respond to RFE received by USCIS
11/10/2017 - case was denied

Second case:
02/13/2018 - case submitted (regular processing)
09/27/2018 - RFE
12/22/2018 - response to RFE received by USCIS
03/21/2019 - case was approved
05/15/2019 - RFE (copy of birth certificate)
09/25/2019 - interview was scheduled
10/29/2019 - interview
10/30/2019 - approval notice and card was printed
11/05/2019 - received our cards

Interview:
Location - Miami , FL
Our lawyer was with us

Oath, i485 questions, marriage pictures and asked how we met and when.

We gave our work documents (letters, company account, brochures etc.). But officer told us that he doesn’t need work related documents because he is sure that the second time we filled the case they checked everything more than enough and more detailed.
Checked our medical and told us “Thank you. You’ll receive the answer by mail”.

Officer was joking and the atmosphere was very friendly and good.

We wish everyone gets their GC as fast as possible.

If you have any questions- please ask.
