Hello folks, Need advice on one small matter which is disturbing me.
My AOS interview (EB based) has been scheduled on October 17th, 2019 (Sacramento, CA field office).
Last year, there was another company who was willing to hire me and process my H-1b and GC application. They proceeded with filing my H-1b and they messed up with my paperwork because of which it got denied.
So I continued to stay with my current employer (as I had a valid visa with them) and they fast tracked my GC application.
My question is: In my I-485 application (Part 8: General Eligibility and Inadmissibility grounds), Question 15 asks "Have you ever been denied a visa to the United States", for which I answered 'No'.
This was because, to my understanding, I was already in the US with a valid visa, and this was just an amendment which got denied.
Should I be forthright and tell the IO upfront about this, or wait for the IO to ask me specifically about it so that I can provide my justification? Please help.

Those who had their interview in Aug/Sept and were waiting for October for PD to become current again, can you reply and update everyone if you get a status change like "new card issued" or other updates? Anyone already got anything?

I completed my EB3 (RoW) interview on the 29th of July 2019. Awaiting the final action on my AoS as its is 1st October with my date being current.
However I am looking at a new opportunity with the same employer but simply as a promotion.

Do I need to now submit a Supplement J before I can take this role? Or do i need to stay in my current role for another 6 months?

The brand that I work for is sold to another company after I got the NVC appointment letter.
I-140 states my former company now. There will be no change on my job description, nor the offer or anything else but there was an acquisition.
I am thinking bringing the following to the interview:
- my new offer from the current company,
- a confirmation that I worked with my former company (stating my salary, job description etc.),
- a proof of the acquisition,
Should I go to the interview with these or not??

last minute changes - NEED HELP
hi, I need some comments from you :(
i have been waiting for this day to come so long, the interview date is in 2 weeks. but last minute change is that the employer has changed: as the subgroup I was working with was sold us to some other company. now my employer name has changed although i am still working on same thing with the same brand. the house companies have changed that is all. but my i-140 states the older company's name. don't know what to do. lawyers are saying i need to wait a year more and they need to file a new i-140 just in case.
what would you do????

What do I do from here
EB2. Northern VA resident. Employment based. Syrian national. I have been waiting on My 1-485 from 24 months and still no interview. I am losing my mind here and need advice on what to do. Here's my time line.
Oct 2016 Filed for Prevailing wage
Jan 2017 DOL came back with the minimum required wage.
Feb 2017- Apr 2017 did the advertising part.
May 2017 Filed for Labor certificate.
Aug 2017 Labor Certificate approved.
Oct 2017 Filed I-485, I-140 (expedited), I-130, I-765
Two weeks later I-140 was approved.
Jan 2017 Received combo EAD card
Jan 2017 Case transferred to your local office.
May 2019 Case transferred to NBC Texas Service Center
June 2019 RFE (I485 supplemental)
July 2019 Changed address
July Case transferred to another office.
Aug 1st RFE Received.
