Second I-485 Interview, EB-2 case
Hi folks,

Thanks for sharing your experiences in this wonderful forum.
Please find my time table. After waiting almost one month for the interview result, finally I received a letter from fairfax USCIS for my second interview.
Would you please share with me your experiences and your opinions about this interview. My first interview officer was not very expert in EB2 employment base. He said I worked on marriage green card and just recently moved to this department.

Aug Visa Bulletin - PD not current after I-485 interview
Hi everyone,

I'm EB2 (filed I-140 & I-485 in Dec 18), and had my I-485 interview on 8/6 in Houston, TX.

Overall the interview went smoothly, the IO verified info and asked all the Y/N on the application.

The only docs he checked were birth certificate, marriage certificate, DL and passports.

At the end of the interview he said he will recommend our case for approval but my PD (Aug 18) is not longer current and should be current again in October. He indicated that the backlog might take up to 10 months to clear.

I find that hard to believe. From research on this forum I found that last year the backlog cleared after 2-3 weeks. Does anyone here have a similar situation/observation?

Also - I don't have my EAD card as it was lost in the mail. The application was approved but the card was never delivered so I applied for a new card, the case was received on June 20.

Do you know if I can travel internationally while I wait for the GC with my new EAD?

Relocation to different state while i-485 in process
Hi Folks,

I am a regular viewer of these groups and today I have a question if one of you can answer:
my current project in Texas is over and I am getting new one Chicago or LA.
My current address is in Texas and it never changed during GC process yet. my current GC status is my i-485 is in process (not yet approved) but I got EAD.

I am planning to keep the base location ( which is Texas) to avoid any address change etc thing, so my family will stay here and I will go to new location for project.

My concern is:
is there any negative impact of doing it on GC interview time? and what should I make sure to avoid any problem in my pending GC process due to this ?

Thanks
