VB April'19 -- Good news or bad one for EB1?
Visa bulletin for April'19 is released. Not sure what to make out on final action date movement (section D) -- is it good news for EB1 (we all know about the slowish progress about final action date so nothing surprising about that) ? The predictions based on the website https://www.mygcvisa.com/visa-bulletin/visa-bulletin-predictions.aspx?t=1 seem quite optimistic both for India and ROW. For reference, this is what section D says:

Final Action Date movement in many Family-sponsored and Employment-based preference categories continues to be greater than might ordinarily be expected, and this is anticipated to continue for at least the next few months. I have my advance parole valid and also my H1B visa valid. I am traveling internationally on July 19th.
My i131 will expire on 2/15/2020 and my H1B visa will expire 08/20/2020. I want to use my visa to enter the country since I want to remain in H1B until I get my GC (Just in case it gets denied, i wont stay out of status), also because I still have after 08/20/2020 another two more years posible with H1b.
The question is: will my i131 will be cancelled because I did not used to re entry?

I had given my interview 4 months ago. I went to local USCIS to check on my case and I was told my case has been pending background check for 2 months. I had raised SR ticket as well and that was the exact same response I had gotten before. Has anyone experienced this before where case is stuck on bkg check process?

We received an RFE to get medical forms submitted again.
Until now I have used a lawyer, but he is asking for RFE response see. From the letter it seems, only the sealed envelopes accompanied by a copy of the RFE letter needs to be sent to the immigration office.
Do I need a lawyer to respond to this? Of course, they are asking for a charge for me and family. for this.
Can you please share your experiences? And in case you applied on your own, please provide the content of the package that you has put in?

EB3 to EB1C - possible?
can anyone advise if it is possible to port Eb3 PD to EB1C I140 provided all EB1C conditions/requirements are met such as 1yr abroad, being a multinational manager etc ?

Green Card on Hand
I finally got my green card! It was a very very long process (over 3 years since we started the first step) but this forum helped me a lot. Here is my timeline:
Country: Venezuela
Office: Miami
Employment Based
10/27/17 -> Send I-485 and I-140 forms.
01/05/18 -> Biometric appointment.
April 2018 - >I-140 approved.
between April and June -> I-485 was transferred between offices 3 times.
7/10/18 -> Ready to schedule the interview.
09/04/18 ->Interview done in Miami. It was like 10min, no major questions.
October 2018 and February 2019 ->I sent Inquiries, both time the answers were not accurate.
03/04/19 -> Went for an infopass which made a huge difference, after waiting for 6 months they finally did something. That same day I got a notification that they were printing the card.
03/06/19 -> card in the mail
03/08/19 -> card in hand.
I-485 total processing time was 17 months and waited 6 months after the interview to get the card.
If you went to an interview and have been waiting for a while, then do an inforpass appointment since thats what made 100% the difference to me.

How long does it take to hear back after RFE being sent?
It is not 15 months now since I filed for my marriage-based Green card. We had interview on January 16, 2018, and over 30 days after the interview they sent us a RFE. They required a proof of my husband's birth certificate that was issued by government (we sent with original application his birth certificate that was issued by his birth hospital, not by government).
We filed the RFE document within 15 days, and now we are waiting for a updates but the case status tracker does not say anymore updates since our interview. How long does it usually take us to hear from USCIS after they received the RFE response?
Also, My EAD will be expired in May, and I have not renewed it yet because I though I would get approved by then. I should probably renew it now if it is taking this long.
