EB2
Hello everyone.

I had a question related to travelling outside US, once we complete our i 485 interview and waiting for the GC. Can we travel with our EAD/Advance Parole when we have completed our I 485 interview (Status - Interview completed and case held for review) and waiting for the GC. Will this have any implication on our GC processing. I am on H1B and should I do a H1B stamping or can I use my Advance parole without doing the H1B stamping.

Thanks you.

EB2-Rest of the World
Hello everyone, this is my timeline so far. Does someone know what to expect from now on?

Case Received - Nov/11/2018
Biometrics Done - Febr/08/2019
Approve I-140 - February/27/2019
EAD card arrived - 03/01/2019

Any ideas on how long I will be waiting for an interview? I am in Kentucky and I am originally from Cyprus.

Thank you and I wish you all good luck on your cases.

EB2 interview
My case was transferred from TSC to NBC on 2/27/2019 and then was transferred to local office on 2/28/2019. Any idea about how long does it usually take for interview to be scheduled once case transfers to local office?

My timeline
Case received at TSC on 12/07/2018
Biometrics review completed on 1/1/2019
Case transferred to NBC on 2/27/2019
EAD/AP approved on 03/08/2019

AC21 question
I have question related to job portability.

I was on L1A and I completed my 485 interview in January month. Interview was straight forward and IO recommended my case for approval. Awaiting date to be current. Last month my L1A visa expired and my employer moved my visa status to my valid EAD and AP.

Now my project is over, I have been provided 2 options by my employer-
1. Offshore transfer
2. Resign

What should be the best decision in this scenario?
If resignation, what is the consequences of changing the job? With AC21 rule, do I need to compulsory send my new job profile and related documents to USCIS? Do the USCIS may change the decision because of this job change to re-validate my job profile and responsibilities? What are other impact on future USC path?

If offshore transfer (with valid EAD+AP), my 485 will still be considered in process? What is the impact, as I won't have paystubs until I get GC. Offcourse I will change the address with AR11 form to receive GC to my relative's home address.

Really looking for suggestions and guidance.

My EB3 Experience
Dear all,

I just want to say thank you to this community that has been helping me throughout my greencard journey. Somehow this journey has been very emotional for me with all the waiting and uncertainty with Trump administration. But, patience is virtue. 14 years in the US and finally, I am now a legal permanent residence of the US.

This is my timeline for EB3 employment based greencard.

Priority Date: 08/04/2017
PERM certified: 01/04/2018
Concurrent Filing I-140 and I-485, I-131 (AP) and I-765 (EAD): 01/22/2018
Biometric: 03/01/2018
EAD approval: 05/22/2018
AP approval: 09/25/2018
I-140 approval: 09/25/2018
I-485 transferred to another office: 10/12/2018
Interview Notice: 02/12/2019
EAD extension: 02/14/2019
Interview at Field Office (San Jose, CA): 03/19/2019

The interview lasted about 45 minutes. The interview was straight-forward and informal in nature. The officer I had was friendly and the whole time he shared about his experience traveled to Asia and different countries, his family, etc. He went over my name, DOB, current address, and education background, length of current employment, and some yes/no questions on I-485 about any criminal records, ground of inadmissibility, any unauthorized employment, etc. Documents that were presented to him today were the job offer, advanced parole, 2019 paystubs, original birth certificate, passport, and valid H1B approval with current I-94, and the most current medical record. He handed me a paper to inform me that decision cannot be made right away as my finger prints and picture taken on the interview will be matched againts their records. The NBC will make the decision. If I don’t hear the decision by 120 days, the hotline to inquire is available.
My lawyer told me if I didn't get approved right away to not get disappointed. I was ready to wait for another 120 days and possibly longer because of the whole waiting game with USCIS.

I-485 Decision: Card on Production 03/21/2019

For everyone who's waiting, don't lose hope. It's possible. Praise the Lord.

I-485 Questions - Answers
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

I am going to have interview next week. I just reviewed my I-485 form and I saw that I got a BIG MISTAKE on the question number 61 about public assistance. I answered "no" but I used WIC and MEDICAID for some months before.

Please advice what should I do in the interview? Could I still have chance to correct my answer? How the immigration officer will think about me? Will they think I am lying or not honest. I am very worry. Please help!

Thank you so much

I-485 Interview Inquiry [San Jose, CA]
Is there anyone who made an inquiry on I-485 interview result after 120 days of wait period? If yes, what is your end result or what is the response you get from USCIS?

FYI, My priority date is CURRENT and I went for interview on Nov 7, 2018. Since then no update on my case. That I time, i got a letter which says I can make an inquiry after 120 days, if there is no change in my petition.

Please advise

I485 procesing times at Nebraska
The processing times for employment-based I485 at NSC is 24 to 36 months now!

When I checked earlier this week, they were processing cases as of June, 2017. Now they are back to April 2016.

How does this happen so quickly?! Is this even accurate?

Thanks!
