EB3 AOS
We have been silent readers on this forum all these days.
It is time to give back now by sharing our timeline and experiences.
We have been immensely helped by reading all the experiences and suggestions on this forum.

EB3 India
Field office--Chicago
Priority date---Feb 2008
I485 filed--May 1st 2018
Fingerprints-- June 2nd week of 2018
EAD/AP Recd---first week of August 2018
Ready to schedule for interview--last week of August 2018

Interview scheduled--First week of January 2019
Interview date--End of Jan 2019
Recd approval of I485 and green card--Mid Feb 2019.

The interview was simple. We were asked to provide any other proof for our marriage(other than the marriage certificate).
Luckily we had carried an album containing 25-30 pictures. This was sufficient as an alternative proof.
I had never read in this forum that this kind of a question was asked during employment based AOS interview.(we have been married for 18+ years).

The interview lasted for 45mins altogether and a little later while we were returning got a text saying our card is being produced.

We wish good luck to all applicants waiting and may God fulfill your wishes very soon.

And once again Thank for all the experiences and suggestions posted here.

EB2 Cross Chargeability - Received i693 Courtesy Letter
Hello All,
We received the i693 courtesy letter last week stating that the form used was an outdated version and to update the medical report on the latest version of the form which I have taken care of. They have asked NOT to Mail it and to bring it during the interview. But can someone help me with how long it would take to receive the interview notice?

Online status shows Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction.

Interview scheduled at different state, what should I do?
I just got my interview notice. However the interview is scheduled in Georgia where my company headquarter is, and I am in Florida! The reason behind was all my applications used HQ address so our company immigration office oversees all status of all applications, while I am working in a department that is in Florida and of course I live in Florida. Once we realized the interview is ready to be scheduled, we requested address change on line. On the same day, I went to local USCIS center (without appointment) and asked the officer to change the address though his computer and was told everything should be fine. Then quickly after we requested address change, we received on line status - interview was scheduled. It's weird that it's within a week changing from interview ready for schedule to interview was scheduled, which I know for most people it takes one month or a few months. It would have been a good news, however, as I worried it was scheduled in Georgia but not in Florida!

My employer asked me to go ahead for this interview and said if lucky, they may approve my interview and ask Florida to issue my GC, and worst case will be the officer to manage the case transfer which may be much faster than giving a call to USCIS for reschedule. My colleague had the issue who was in same situation and after the call to USCIS for rescheduling interview in Florida, her case has gone nowhere for about half year.

If's quite frustrating as we have to spend a day or two flying there with very little hope. Appreciate any suggestion or experience you can share. Thank you guys!

Green Card received
Thank you for all the information on this helpful forum.

Here are details of my Journey:
Mid-Jan 2017 - I-140 application
Mid-March 2017 . - I-140 RFE
Mid-May 2017 . - I-140 RFE response
End Aug 2017 - I-140 approved

End Oct 2017 - I-485 applied (with I-765 and I-131)
Mid Apr 2018 - EAD combo card received
Early Dec 2018 - AOS interview (first option marked on interview receipt)
Mid Dec 2018 - Applied for EAD renewal
Feb 5 2019 - Status changed to AOS approved
Feb 9 2019 - Received the approval letter
Feb 15 2019 - Received the green card

Patience helped. A lot of support from messages on this forum.

Also, for the AOS interview, having all documents properly marked for retrieval also helped.

Good luck to all who are waiting.

Green Card Issued
Hello everyone,

This forum has been great source to keep a tab on the green card pipeline. It's time for me to give back to the community.

We have waited a little over 2 grueling years and got stuck in 2 retrogressions before our status changed last week.

Background --
Application Type - EB1B + NIW
Country of Birth - India
Application Filed at - Nebraska Service Center
No interview required

Timeline --
PD - December 02, 2016
Filing date for I-485 - January 14, 2017
I-485 Approval date - Feb 12, 2019
Cards sent for printing - Feb 12, 2019
Cards mailed to us - Feb 14, 2019
Cards in hand (or will be in hand) - Feb 21, 2019 (tomorrow)

Things to note --
(1) The USCIS website (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do) did not show any updates on our last week. The USCIS DHS website (https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov) showed the status update for case approval and then card printing. I would recommend that you all create accounts on both sites.

(2) Now, even though we got an update saying that the cards were mailed to us on Feb 14 (Thursday), they were not picked up by USPS until yesterday (Tuesday of following week). Not sure what caused the delay.

(3) This time, the USPS update with the tracking number update showed up on USCIS' website and nothing changed on USCIS DHS' website.

This has been a pretty long process for us but I am sure there are others who have to go through a much longer wait. Good luck!

I'd be happy to answer any questions that you might have.

Almost 6 months since interview
Hello! I need some advise, here is my timeline:

- October 2017: I applied to I-485 (employment based)
- Jan 5th 2018: Fingerprints
- Sep 4th 2019: Interview (Miami office).
Officer said that all good and that I should receive my green card in a couple of days.

It has been almost 6 months since the interview and my online status still says "As of July 10, 2018, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, for an interview".

I have called many times and they say that I am inside the normal processing time which is now 21.5 months (it has been 16 months for me). I have put an Inquiry twice, first one came back saying case still under review, second one saying that next step is to schedule an interview... but I already attended the interview. I have tried to make an infopass but there is never appointments available.

What should I do?
