F2A PD: Mar 2016, NBC, still waiting on EAD/AP
Thanks for sharing your info and advice here!

I'm the green card holder applied for my wife.

We filed the 485/765/131 on Nov 1, 2017. We have talked to USCIS level-2 officers and submitted case inquiries. The answer we have been told is 'Wait', that's just very frustarted and inacceptable.

The Final Action date for F2A (Mainland China) is Jun 08, 2016 as of this month. Our priority date is Mar 16, 2016. Does it mean we should be receive the Green Card by now? And we are still waiting to get the EAD and AP.

We would love to hear if anyone with PD around Mar 2016 and submitted around Nov 2017 have heard anything back or still waiting like us.

Also any suggestion on how to expedite this? Any one tried to expedite EAD with job offer letter or local congressman/women?

Thank you very much! Good luck to you!

Family-based petition/ J1 Visa
Hello all,

I am a derivative beneficiary in a family-based petition (F4) and I had my consular appointment on May 2017 where I was told by the consular officer that I had not met the two-year physical presence requirement from a previous J1 visa and that I had to come back in September 2018 when the requirement would be met.
Since it is a family-based petition where my aunt (the petitioner) filed for my dad (the main beneficiary) I would like to know if my case still has anything to do with either one of them?

Your answers are very appreciated !

Philadelphia Stoke interview
Hi guys.we had a stoke interview yesterday about my I 130. I couldn't file for I 485 at the same time because of my asylum case( removal proceeding). Officer was an India Male.
After sworn in he asked me to step out to the waiting room. My wife was interviewed for 40 minutes. After that he called me in and asked my wife to step out and told me that since I'm in removal proceeding he have to go deep with the interview. After interview me for 20 minutes he realized that one of my answers didn't match to my wife so he asked me to step out again and called my wife in. He asked her when did I move in to her appartment she said she is not really sure and said she doesn't want to be wrong but she thinks it was February but I already said January. So officer said that he wants her to give exact date and got frustrated and said that she can't remember.
Our lawyer was there the entire time. Officer called my lawyer out for like 5 minutes and came back in and still questioning her about the same thing and she started crying because she can't remember. She told the officer that he can asked her anything but to be honest she can't remember. She was really under pressure. He finally said sorry to my wife and said he didn't mean to make her cry.
We had more then 20 proofs so he kept all them and told my lawyer that he needs to review them before make decision.
After interview lawyer said that we had 95% matching answers and he is confident that he will approve us, plus lawyer said that he knows him for years so officer knows that he doesn't bring fake marriage case to immigration.
In the afternoon case update saying " INTERVIEW COMPLETED AND CASE MUST BE REVIEWED "
The entire interview was stressful. So for people with asylum case specially in REMOVAL PROCEEDING, be ready for Stroke interview.

questions about being over aged at the PD
Hello!

My family was petitioned by my Father, Our Family Preference is F3 and our PD is Nov 1996. I got 3 children and they are all included in the petition. My eldest was born on 1982, my second was born on 1983 and my youngest was born on 1995. and I checked he Visa bulletin that they are processing year 1995. I would like to ask if is there any possibility that my children would still be included even if they are overage?

Hello all it has been a journey
Priority date :March 27th 2017
EAD CARD: JULY 2017
SCHEDULE FOR INTERVIEW: MARCH 23RD 2018 INTERVIEW WAS CANCELED BECAUSE OF SNOW STORM.
NEW INTERVIEW DATE: MAY 3RD 2018
GREEN CARD APPROVED: MAY 8TH 2018

i had a really nice officer. it was like a conversation. she swore us in and asked us to get our evidence together, she looked at our album and asked us to choose one pic that we both like from our wedding day and she chose another one. we submitted joint taxes, 2 credit card statements, joint bank account statement, telephone bill and joint insurance. she then told us that every look well but it standard procedure to place the case under review while she give us both background checks. She then told us that she's not going to keep us waiting too long. card went onto production today. she mentioned that we were well organized and prepared. Guys be prepared for your interview they like to see stuff in order. although your marriage maybe real they love to see preparation. Good luck to everyone

questions about filing for spouse on my pending I485
Dear friends
I have a question that nobody I talked to is able to clearly explain to me. I'll appreciate if anybody has knowledge about my issue. my details:
> Filed EB1A based I485 in Dec 2018. Waiting for interview (they have interviews now for EB1A)
> Plan to marry an Indian citizen (who is still in India) in October this year.
> I want to apply for her green card before my case is adjusted and then having to file for her as family (which will delay her case for years)

My questions are:
> Is it OK to apply for her after my interview (which is not scheduled yet)
> Can I also file for her from India?

I would appreciate any other helpful suggestion that can make me get her here faster and get her green card also soon.
You guys are wonderful. May God bless you
