at Delhi Consulte office.....questions they asked me.......
VO>What is the name of ur current compnay name?
Me> Bla Bla Bla
VO>Thru which compnay ur moving to States?
Me>xxxxxxxx is the compnay name.....
VO>What is the profile of ur company?
Me>xxxxxx this is the profile of my compnay....
VO>How u got this job?
Me>I have applied on Jobs Ahead then company ppl shortlisted my profile & start the techinical panels & finally they called me for the personnel interview.....
VO>I m fully satisfied & ur visa is approved.....
So Guyz not to worry about it, only by grace of God we all can get success, No body asked me for Client Letter or project desctiption....but be confident & look into the eyes of VO & keep smiling face.......

Doc Required For H4 Visa
Hi,
I have got my H1-B stamped in the Month November'2005.I am planning to go to US in the month of February'2006.Meanwhile i got H4 Appointment for my Husband and Kid on Dec 28th 2005 .Please let me know what documents they have to carry with them.

Got 221(g).... Shell i take my wife next time
Hi friends,
VO given me 221(g) on 28 nov. I am planning to go for interview with in few weeks. First time i went only alone, Is it possible take wife this time?.(i.e. second time). Is there any problem.
Please give me suggestions.

Got 221g in chennai consulate
I attented my H1 i/v on dec 1 in chennai consulate.
My appt time was 4:45-5:00pm but I reached consulate 4:05.
they let me in immediately, I was surprised to see not any rush.
at most two ppl were there at every counter..I have came out within 1/2 an hr..
Here is how my i/v went...
VO: How are you doing..?
Me: I am fine. (gave my papers to him)
VO: Can I see your graduation..?
Me: Sure (I gave my graduation certificate..)
VO: (Looked at it for few secs and returned back...) What are you going to work at united states..
Me: I will be working for YYYY company. I will be put up in YYY project. Project is done for ZZZ client (here i guess i made a mistake.. i might not have mentioned about client, anyway thats mentioned in my employers letter)
VO: (he said client name again) ZZZ...?
Me: yes..
VO: Do you have a letter from ZZZ client stating that this project exist..?
Me: I dont have letter from ZZZ, but have a letter from my employer ZZZ..
VO: Are you going to work for ZZZ or ZZZ.?
Me: I am going to work for YYYY only..he is going to pay me..only the project I do is for ZZZ client..
VO: I understand that...
Me: (I was trying take out my company profile from my file)
VO: No..I dont need that...
VO: (updating application status on his system and took a blue 221g from and wrote get a letter from ZZZ... ) I am not convinced that you have job waiting for you there..(I tried to say something..but he said first listen to what I am saying and continued) basicaly I need a letter from your client that this project exists and complete itinerary of your trip. you can come again for i/v as per instructions in the form...

So be careful..If you are saying about client..be sure that you have a letter from client..

H-1B Stamping
I got 3years Multiple US VISA. I have attended to DELHI embassy though I should not because that was my first time to the DELHI embassy and I dont have any visa rejections on my passport and I did not get an appointment date in CHENNAI.
Questions that I have asked by interviewer during VISA interview are
1. How did you know about US company.
2. Will it be your first visit to US.

I succesfully cleared my US Visa Interview. The following questions were asked to me.
1) What is the name of the current company that you are working in ?
A) YYYY X
2) Why are you leaving your current company and joining another company
A) Better pay package, international exposure and better oppurtunities.
3) How did you come to know about H1 employer
A) I came to know about it through a friend
4) What is the name of your friend and where does he work
A) His name is YYYY and he works with YYYY XX
5) How did H1 employer select you.
A) They conducted two rounds of interview. In the first round they did a back ground check. In the second round they took a technical interview
6) How did they do the background check.
A) Based on the Resume that I sent, they came to know that I am currently working with YYYY which happens to be the sixth largest IT company in India. They were aware of the repuation of this company.
7) What kind of technical questions did they ask in the technical round.
A) They asked me questions regarding my work in J2EE technologies and building web applications.
Before I could further elaborate on the answer, the interview said "I am giving you the Visa".
