regarding spouse H4 approval notice
My employer filed for my and dependent's extension. I got the actual approval notice but dependent's went back to USCIS due to address issue (dependent approval notice was somehow sent to my old address) [Also on form i797C it is mentioned that H4 extension has been approved.]
Now, USICS told me to file i824 to get the duplicate, which will take minimum 6 months.
My Question : Can I change employer and apply for extension with new employer without waiting for dependent's actual approval notice and once i get it after few months, then file it ??
will it cause any issues for my dependent as the extension has been approved.
can someone please provide some insight. thanks in advance.

Visa Interview - 09 April
Location - New Delhi
VO asked me only a few questions about what employer I work for and what does the company do. She asked me to clarify a little about my role and whether I work on OPT with the same employer. Also asked if I did Masters in the US and whether or not I was married. Answered all questions. She also checked I-797 briefly. VO hands me the rights pamphlet saying, “assuming your visa will be approved, here are your rights.”
After a minute or so, she stamped my F1 visa with “cancelled without prejudice” and returned my passport and asked me to go to another counter.
At the other counter now the Indian lady handed me a white form with boxes for resume, current and past work experience, research, education, and itinerary details checked and emailed to advanced processing email address. She asks me to email them ASAP since it may take 3-4 weeks
This form has no mention of 221g or anything.
Current status - AP with last update on the day of the interview.
Documents email the next day after the interview.
Anyone has an experience similar to mine? Any idea when can I expect an update on this? Is this also 221g?

H1b stamping for candidate with past b1 visa

Please help me if anyone has faced similar situation.
I first came to US on B1 for a convention/ training and business event and stayed for 5 months. During this time my employer filed h1 and it got approved and applied for Change of status. In total I've stayed for about 8 months on b1 status in a single year ( 5 months first time visit + 2.5 months second time visit).
My first h1 is renewed and valid till July 2021. Now I'm in India and need to get stamped to go back.
Would there be any risks associated with my profile during my interview. Is there anyone who faced similar situation of change of status from b1 to h1 after spending long time in b1. I genuinely stayed for training and business events during b1.

DS-160 query related to immigrant petition filing
My current petitioner has filed my immigrant petition for me a year back but it got rejected. Do I need to mention that.
If I select yes it ask to explain, do indeed to enter petition number there or just enter that got denid. Looking for people experience in same situation.

Hi All,
H1 and H4 kid VISA was issued within 24 hours without AP, but H4 spouse VISA was under AP for last 15 days.
No additional document was asked for H4 spouse at the time of interview.
No 221g was given, only Yellow Slip was given with case number on it. Unfortunately no status is available for that case number, online.
I am worried about family separation now.
What else I can do now, we came for extension stamping and H4 have their approved I-797.
Appreciate any feedback.

Status: On CPT working at End client location. My employer sponsored H1.
1) Do in need to got to home country (India) for stamping Or Canada/Mexico ?
