Transit visa in Paris?
I have an expired H1 visa. I have a new approved I797 with validity until 2021. I am traveling from US to India via Paris (CDG international airport). Do I need to get transit visa for Paris transit?
There are mixed responses when I google this question. There are few references which say it is not required

H1B Extension Interview - Interview Date 31st Aug 2018
My case was approved. This is my third extension and second PA interview. No documents were asked
Me: GM sir
VO: GM
VO: Are you working for YYYY company?
Me: Yes
VO: Were you working with same company before?
Me: Yes
VO: Do you have end client?
Me: Yes
VO: Whats the name of your end client?
Me: YYY
VO: Whats your salary?
Me: Mentioned Salary as per petition
VO: Whats your work location?
Me: Mentioned it
VO: Are you aware of your rights in USA?
Me: Yes
VO: Thanks your visa has been issued.
Me: Thank You Sir.
While i was in the queue i heard at few other windows H1B Extensions were getting questioned as below.
These were not asked to me , hence adding them here seperately
VO: Kindly explain in brief your job duties?
VO: what does your company do?
VO: where is the headquater of your End Client
VO: Did you get raise in your salary, and how much
All the H1B extension i saw were approved.

I came out and checked my status in ceac website. Status went into Administrative Processing.
4 days later, passport was issued and ready for pick up.
Be cool and confident. Confidence and fluency is the key.

On Aug 6th, the day DMK leader passed away, I did my H1B (10+ years extension) in Chennai. I am a FTE with US manufacturing employer working in IT division.

In Port of entry..He said you are on H1B and gohead. He just joked to my son.

I noticed low salary guy and tester and quality guys and PMO rejected when I was waiting on the floor.

H1b Extension Stamping and I-94 status
Hi Guys,
Last year when I entered in US I got 1-94 valid until Jan 2018 because my stamping and I-797 was valid till that time , I applied for extension and it got approved valid till 2020 , on new I-797 same I-94 number is mentioned with the approval validity .
But when I’m checking online my i-94 record its shows the previous details valid until 2018 .
Is there anything that I need to correct with CBP?
Because I’m planning to transfer my petition to my client where I’m working currently through my employer. what other options I've for stamping except from India ?
What would be the impact ?
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
