Reappear Visa Interview along with additional documents
Hi All,

I got a below reply from Chennai consulate regards my H1B application which is been under Admin Processing for last 5 months.
--------------------------------------------
Your application for a nonimmigrant visa has been refused per Section 221(g) of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act. No visa can be issued unless the application is complete. Please follow the instructions marked below.

You must appear for an INTERVIEW with a consular officer on any Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Please bring this letter with you to the interview. Do not make a new appointment.
--------------------------------------------

They asked me to reappear for the interview and also requested additional documents along with me. Is this again the same interview like first time? Will they scrutinize me like anything again like first interview? How the interview will be? Please guide me. How should i prepare for it?

Thanks & Regards
Poomani Sankaran

H1B Interview waiver program / Drop Box / In Person Interview
Hello Guys,

I would like to share my experience on Interview waiver program / Drop box / In person interview

On August 17, I have attended for drop box for Hyderabad consulate

— Went to the consulate at 9:15 AM.
— Went to drop box location, Shown my passport and there is separate queue for drop box. Please don’t stuck in Finger print/Biometrics line
— Got a token and submitted (I797, 2 passport size photos, Passport along with Interview waiver document)
— Submitted and came back home

On August 21, I received an email for fingerprints and In person interview as shown below.

Dear Applicant:

Thank you for submitting your documents for an Interview Waiver at the VAC office Hyderabad. However, to process your visa application we would like to let you know that your case needs further review and requires you to come to the Consulate for fingerprints and interview.

Please come to the Consulate for finger prints and interview with a printout of this confirmation letter on August 28 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

— So finally i had to go through fingerprints and In person Interview
- I have reached little early and stood in line at 9AM.
- I entered consulate and finally i’m inside and i asked one officer for fingerprints. He directs me the counter 6 to collect my passport. I took passport along with blue card (If you receive any card with passport, Don’t get panic, it specifies only counter number nothing else.). For me it’s counter number 13 for interview. I gave finger prints on counter number 7 and attended interview on Counter no. 13
- The VO asked me general questions like university name, master’s in what, year of passed out, employer name, client name, salary, how many years that i have been working with the client, are you working at client location, where do you live, are you married, describe your job duties and did you applied for green card.
- Later i checked my status, and found out administrative processing which made me little scared.
- Based on my knowledge Admin processing, They either want to make further verification with USCIS or they have to verification by calling you for in person interview
-
- Application id abccccc YYYY X

I have an expired H1 visa. I have a new approved I797 with validity until 2021. I am traveling from US to India via Paris (CDG international airport). Do I need to get transit visa for Paris transit?

There are mixed responses when I google this question. There are few references which say it is not required

Does anyone have recent experience traveling via Paris? Any help is appreciated.
