i have attended for interview on April 2nd at Hyderabad consulate for H1B stamping .
THis is my first stamping , VO gave 221g white asking new client letter .
I submitted the same on 3rd April and case got updated with that date .
Still it is 221g processing even after 1 month .
Any one has same experience ? may i know when can i get update

Background: I am working as full time employee for US based company and my qualification - M.Sc(computers)
Attended interview along with family( H4--> wife & kids)
My interview was very quick (less than a minute ). VO asked few basic questions.

- How long you are working in current employer?
- What is your highest degree?
- How much your salary?
- What is your designation?
For my Wife
- Are both of your kids US citizens?
and finally he said, Have a safe travel.
VO did not ask any of my documents. However I carried all required docs.

Firstly thanks every one for sharing your experiences which helped me in many ways. I had my interview last month, both my fingerprints and interview was on 2 different days. These were the questions I was asked.
Work model: Full Time
Questions:
1) What’s your role and responsibilities, designation
2) what’s your work at company name.
3) have masters degree? Which univ and major?
4) salary
Visa approved :) , Got the passport on same day. There were around 20 people at the consulate for H1b and everyone got their passports on same day except 2 people who received after 3 days since they did not carry some imp docs with them and they had to verify them. be confident and most importantly be honest. I have used this link for reference and these guys are best to take help from (https://usvisastampinginmexico.com/).
Note: Only for renewals you can go to Mexico, they do not accept COS(change of status) applications.

Status on US Visa Docs 1 week after 221G
Hi All,
My case is 221 G for H1b. Its been 2 weeks, now I see that the Visa information section is blank including all the boxes like Document Delivery information etc is all blank in US Visa docs portal.
The CEAC still shows admin processing with no updates.
Is this the same case with anyone who are waiting with 221G for more than 2 weeks without any updates?

Query about U.S. visa application status
Hello,
I recently gave my interview for H1-b Visa on 23rd April 2018 at Hyderabad. The Visa Officer told me my visa status didn't get updated in the systems(I was in F1 visa before and recently changed to h1-b on last October) and he told me they will change/update the status correctly. He told me nothing to worry about this and my passport will be issued in 7 to 10 days. When I checked my visa application status on ceac website it is showing as refused. I didn't get back my passport or any documents(221g) at the end of the interview. Also, I didn't get an email from US Consulate about the next steps. Did anyone face the same issue? Please help me how to proceed for the next steps.

Interview was on 04/23/2018. entire interview process took less than 2 minutes.
VO's assistant took my passport in advance and handed over it to VO a minute before my turn to interview. This seems to be normal in Hyd.

H1B AP since Feb 23rd
Hello Everyone,
My visa is still under AP and case last updated was Feb 23rd.
Had my interview on Feb 23rd in Mumbai. Got a 221G Yellow Slip - requesting documents - project scope, client stating on client letter head that I'm expected back etc.
Documents submission date - March 15th. My company assigned an attorney for me so the attorney emailed the documents to the i797 email address.
I still havent received any communication from USCIS nor have they sent an RFE. Please share if someone is in the same boat or have a similar experience?
I've called an emailed the consulate multiple times but they dont have any further info apart from whats available online. Not sure what I should do.
