221G Blue slip issued
I appeared for H1B stamping at Chennai Consulate on 21 March. VO gave me a 221G Blue slip for additional documents from petitioner after asking a standard set of questions and nothing unusual.
And petitioner sent docs required on 26 March.
->Will my Visa get approved? If yes then,
->How long do you think it will take for Consulate to verify documents and approve my Visa?

Back ground:
This is My first H1B visa interview.I am from India, working in Saudi Arabia for past 3 years (Non- IT)
Interview date: 26th March
Questions:
1)How did you know about the opportunity in US?
2)You are currently working in YYYY company?
3)What is your job title in US company?
4)What is the salary?
5)What is your salary in current company?
6)What is your job title currently?
7)What do you manufacture?
8)Are you married?
Then the consular officer said we will keep your passport and check some more details about the company, if we need any other information we will contact you.
visa status changed to admin processing
today it changed to Issued. But no update about the passport status though, hopefully will receive the passport status and pick up update soon

Thanks for your contributions to this super helpful forum. I'm curious what the typical wait-times are for passport pick-up after the Visa interview and approval, i.e., how many days after the Visa interview is the passport available for pick-up?
Specifics:
Visa type: H1B (second stamping)
Consulate: Hyderabad
Due to some poor planning on my part, my interview is on the 2nd (Tuesday) and my flight back to USA is on 5th (Friday). I'm a bit nervous and wondering if there is anything I can do to help my situation.

After 221G how did USCIS contacted your client? Who did they contact? I did not give any client contact information. I work in EC model so I gave my company reporting manager so in that case how will USCIS contact my client?

Hi There,
I Attended H4 visa interview at Chennai on Mar 15 and VO asked couple of questions and I answered. he said that, your visa is in process and will let you know by email, they took passport and never gave me any slip or form. It is been almost 2 weeks and status shows " Your passport is with US Consulate/Embassy".. however I tried to check the DS 160 application status, it shows that "Your search did not return any data".. Could anyone suggest or help on this?

I have had my visa appointment today and received a white form and the VO has mentioned that they'd reach out to me via email and I would not need to come back to the consulate.

Reached the counter hoping to wish the lovely young lady but she was already determined to go ahead with her questions: So here it is
VO: What is the purpose of your travel to USA?
Me: I am on H1B Work permit
VO: Where do you work?
Me: Told my company name (Im an FTE)
VO: Could you please spell it?
Me: Spelled it twice and she was probably looking up on it.
VO: What is it?
Me: Explained about what the company is. (Tried to keep it short)
VO: Oh So you have experience in the field that your company is based on?
Me: Well, I work under the IT Business unit in my company
VO: What is your major and education
Me: I did my Masters in Computer Science
VO: How about Bachelors?
Me: Electrical
VO: What do you work as ?
Me: Sr. S/W Engineer
Back on the point where she was not convinced on my company's profile
VO: Tell me about what you know on your company profile
Me: Said so
VO: Could you please give me examples of what they exactly do
Me: Did explain a scenario (Tried my best to explain her in a better way and not confuse her)
VO: Looks into the monitor and types down some thing on it
VO: How much do you earn and where do you live?
Me: answered (Gave a weird look on my response to pay :) and that's when I realized her focus could be on Speciality occupation vs their pay +Education background
VO: Handed me my passport and white form with some case number noted down and mentioned that they'd reach out to me via email and I would not need to come back to the consulate.
