I am working in USA company as FTE and they had filed my extension. I traveled India on 16th March and submitted document on 19th March in newdelhi . It was drop box at Nehru place. Status change to Admin processing next day.
On 23rd March , Visa was issued and 26th March, i got my passport.
Just FYI to all, in drop box , along with your passport, submit your latest petition and older petition too. In documents older petition is no mentioned. And at document collection , they will not take it. But tell them you want to submit it. My friend told me same from his experience and I followed same.

Passport submission post 221G
Hi,
I had my interview on 26th Feb, got 221G to submit additional documents. Submitted the same over email on 5th April. On 9th April i received an email from Consulate to submit the passport which i submitted yesterday that is 10th Feb. Right now, the passport tracking status shows as "is being delivered to the post". My questions are:
1. Their response is pretty quick only 2 days they took to ask me for submitting passport. What does it mean? is it a positive sign? Will my visa issued now? Or they need it as per the AP which can take long
2. How long they keep passport post submission for 221G cases.
3. Is it true that passports are only asked to be submitted when all AP validations are over and completed?
They simply stated that VAC will let me know when it is ready to pick up via text/email.

Hi All,
I have completed my 6 years in USA and back to India by mid of mar 2018 and PERM is in progress.
I am attending H4 visa interview along with my wife(H1B).
Anyone had similar experience and how PA was and wat was asked during PA.

Working for US based company for 6+ years.
This is our 3rd H1B/H4 interview and previous 2 are in-person interviews.
Opted for courier option to collect passport at home(Rs500 fee need to paid to courier on delivery)
Submitted required document for self, spouse and kid at dropbox location Hyderabad. Raised objection for photos taken at US costco and need to take photos at local location.
29th March 2018: submitted documents.
30th March 2018: Good Friday - no update
31st March 2018 - Saturday - no update
1st April 2018 - Sunday- no update
2nd April 2018 - Case created for all three members

4th April 2018 - Kids passport couriered and visa issued for spouse(H4), my case is still no update
5th April 2018 - Kids passport received at home. Wife passport couriered and my visa is issued.

7th April 2018 - Revived my passport

Dropped the passport along with the requested documents on 5th March.
5th March - Docs Submitted
6th March - Case Created
7th March - Issued.
Do remember to take photos as per as the specification for as hassle free experience.
I would suggest to get the photos from India. Mine was taken in US and have to get the photos again in India.

Hello everyone,
I attended H1b interview today with my family at Chennai consulate. VO asked us the below questions:
1) Handed over the Passports and VO asked me, Are you working at European Global YYYY company? (Seems he is very much aware of my company)
2) What does your company YYYY X do in USA?
3) Which location you are working?
4) What is your Salary?
5) What is your designation and job duties
6) How many years have you been married? (to my wife)
Finally VO said your visa is approved.
I am waiting for my stamped passports.

Me and my wife went for Interview.

She is reading continuously for 5 mins without asking anything, later she went inside with my documents ( LCA and I 797) came after 4 mins and gave 221(g) white color with Case number. Didn't mentioned any documents required.

F1 to H1 - Top Tech Gaint 221 g issued
Interview on 9th (F1 to H1):
I work as Senior Software engineer for a very reputed Tech Gaint as full time employee
Did not ask for i797 copy also. Took the passport and asked 5-6 basic questions like salary, location, what you do at work. Asked did I work on OPT
Issued 221(G) blue slip and said it will not take terribly long. Retained the passport
I hope it's again started in the summer.
