Options after rejection in stamping
Hi Guys,

I have never travelled to US before. Working for capgemini currently who applied for my h1b this year and luckily it got selected too in lottery. Now waiting for approved petition and hoping no RFE.

After going through the forum it seems to me that there are chances of getting rejected in visa interview at the consulate. Which brings me to raise this question/s-

1. Will I be Cap-Exempt in case I get rejected in VI
2. Assuming same employer can file for new petition under cap-exempt anytime throughout the year (no need to wait till Apr16 again?)
3. I can resign from my emp and join other emp who can back the H1B transfer under cap-exempt (again do I still need to wait till Apr16 for this?)

OR

Every option stated above is invalid and I will again have to go through the pain of lottery etc with fresh application...

Thanks,
h1b2016

H1b visa status
This is to inform you that we are still awaiting the lottery status of your H1B application from United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Though we started receiving the acknowledgement receipts for few applications (lottery acceptance confirmation), your case is still pending with the USCIS. Since the lottery status is announced only in batches, we may have to wait until end June 2015 for an appropriate update from the USCIS. People Mobility Service Delivery (PMSD) is closely monitoring the update from USCIS and will keep you posted on the status of the lottery during the months of June or as soon as we have an update from the USCIS. Please note that there will be no further status updates from PMSD unless we have an update from the USCIS.

This is the mail i received from my employer. Is there any possibility of approving my H1b?I heard there is no wait list in H1b..!

H1B Visa Validity
Hi. My H1B visa was selected in lottery 2014. My petition was approved for dates from 01st Oct 2014 to 30th Sep 2015.
I am going to attend Visa interview by June 1st week i.e (4 months before my petition expiry). Whether this will affect in getting my visa stamped? if i get my H1b stamped, whether it will be only for 4 months?

Need help on H1
Greetings everyone,

I am in Hyderabad. My brother who lives in USA have filed my H1 through xxx company in Feb 2014, got picked in March 2014 and got approved in June 2014. Till date I have not fixed visa interview appointment as my xxx employer wants me to wait for some more time. I feel I wasted almost 1 year in this process inspite of having H1 approval. I wanted to know the Visa success rates in this scenario. Any suggestion/help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

H1 Visa Stamping in Chennai
First thanks for sharing all your good experiences. I am really greatful to everyone.

Had a very exciting experience in Chennai Consulate.

VO: Good morning
Me: Good morning

VO: Was checking something in computer and said 'welcome to united states' and handed over a white book.

I said thank you very much and have a great day.

I got an offer from a non-profit organization (xxx hospital) and i have specialized skill in IT. I think that's why it went simple.
