Would like to share my experience. I have attended the interview recently.
OFC is as usual.
Interview was at Chennai Consulate. The VO is nice and asked the following questions.
1. Who is your employer
2. Describe your project details. Mine is internal.
3. What is your role in the project
4. Do you have any documents that describe your role in the project?
I did not have any documents. I have given my internal project documents. But explained my role.
5. Show me the proof for your continued employment?
6. What is your project location?
7. Are you sure you would be working only from this location?
8. Who is the CEO of your company?
9. Did you meet him?
Then the VO asked me wait and given a yellow slip. I waited nearly 30 mins. He called me again and said your Visa is approved. The VO is nice. He verified all the project documents.

I'm getting the follow documents for this. Please let me know if I miss any docs

• DS-160 Confirmation Page (Includes CEAC BarCode)
• Original Axis Receipt
• Copy of VFS Interview Letter (Interview Appointment Letter)
• I-797, H1-B Approval Notices from current and all previous employers
• Photocopy of entire current passport and previous passports if any, of all pages including blank pages
• Original Signed Offer Letter from the employer with address filled in
• Recent Photographs
Additional Documents for H1-B interview (For Consulting Job / Client Side Project):
• Letter from Client Company regarding the project details, project length and other
technical details. This needs to contain all the required information, which would convince the VO
• Copy of contract between Client Company and Employer

• Letter from Employer with detailed description of your roles and responsibilities
Other Additional Documentation necessary for H1-B interview:
• All previous H1 petitions filed by your previous employers stating job title and job description
• I-129 Document from Employer to USCIS
• Income Tax returns from at least two previous US employers showing taxes paid
• W-2 forms from at least two previous US employers
• At least last 3 Pay stubs from your present employer.
• Letter to USCIS by Employer
• Photocopy of Social Security Number
• Photo copy of Labor Condition Application (LCA) prepared by the Employer during H1-B Petition
• Last 6 months Bank statements, showing the proof of your pay checks
• Latest Resume
• Photocopy of front AND back of I-94 of your
• original Arrival/ Departure Card
• All I-20?s and EAD Card for F-1 (if applicable), both front AND back of both documents
• All academic certificates from school, college,university, degree and post-graduate degree certificates, mark-sheets and transcripts. This includes each of your final degree certificates. Please carry a photocopy of all the certificates,just in case

Firstly, I thank Immihelp for creating such a nice site......
I went for visa interview on 09/19 and i am the second person in the line for the fist slot.
Here are the Questions asked by VO
1. What kind of VISA you applied?
2. Who is your employer?
3. # of employees in the company (U.S)?
4. Do you have any clients? (As, i am going for INHOUSE PROJECT)
5. Give me all the documents which your employer provided and wait in the lobby
I gave all the documents provided by my Employer and was waiting in the lobby for the VO call. It took 20 mins for him to call me and he said "I AM ISSUING YOU VISA".
Give appropriate answers for the questions else he will be irked. I am telling you this coz one of the person got rejected as he is not giving appropriate answers.
If all the documents are genuine, then the chances of getting the VISA are high.
Also, today i collected my Passport......

H1B Approval
Hi Friends,
I applied for H1B this year, My petition got approved and the petition is valid from Oct2014 to Sep2015 even the client latter in the petition show project duration till Dec2017.
I got the visa stamped and the visa have below details :
Expiration date: sep2015
PED : sep2015
Now have below query’s :
1. At present Visa is approved for 1 year, at the max how many more year I can apply for extension.
2. Is this normal to get PED and Expiration date for only one year.

And I stayed there for 45 to 50 days for Project review and some additional tasks.
Present company filed the petition for H1B visa in this year.
My H1B petition is approved and I am going for visa stamping by next week.
Does my earlier trips on B1 to US impact on H1B stamping?
Any one please advise.

Sep/19/2014, I have attended H1B Visa Interview and it is through.
Below discussion has happened.
VO: Good Morning
Me: Good Morning.
VO:- Immediately he asked me your company doesn't have internal project as per records ( Even though the project is exist in my company)
Me:- No sir, we are working on that. Then I gave my company letter, not convinced again I gave contract then he check many pages then he said ok.
meanwhile he asked what is your package as per I-129 H1B filing, what is the client business and your role,etc.
My wife :- Visa Officer (VO) asked her to refer only left hand 4 finger verification...
Ok.
Finally he said golden word your Visa got approved.
I have taken combined appointment for me,wife and son however my son is 4 yrs old hence I didn't bring to final interview and no questions are asked about my son's birth certificate.
Readers:- Before going for interview this post helped me to have an idea hence I am sharing my experience. The same way please do share your input to help others.
Suggestion:- If any one going with company internal project then please be prepared for answer.

Hi There, I need a urgent help of you people. I am on H4 now, I was working in India and was searching for US job as my spouse was planning to travel US on H1, so one company has file my H1b when I was still in India. But after filing I went to US in April only with my spouse. My H1b visa has got approved now and I am going to India for H1b stamping.
