Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. Now its my turn :)
Had OFC on 28th. Was the usual smooth process. Asked me to bring 2 US photos but it was not used
29th - Chennai Consulate - Had my documents checked at one counter, and then passed to finger prints to another counter.
Finally the interview at another counter. The VO asked 2 questions
1. Client name
2. Highest educational qualification
Then the golden words "I am approving your visa" :)
Please be confident and sure of whatever u answer and maintain eye contact.

I would like to thank all of you for posting your visa Interview experience , It helpmed me a lot.
My OFC was on 11/28/2012 went smoothly without any issues.
Today my PAI chennai Consulate which went in good way.
Reached well in advance by 8.30 AM, though my interview was scheduled at 11 AM only , by the time they were allwoing 9.00 AM batch pupil. A Gentleman who was checking the appointment allowed me to join in the same queue since i was accompanying my kid with me.
After then moved to other queue, completed my security check and got my token ### number , and it was priority token who are all accompanying children, i waited for my token turn for document verification. Once done they asked me move to couter #12 , biometric verification completed and then moved to other building.
as soon as i enter the building my token turn arrived , i went to the counter , here are the question asked by VO
VO : GM Sir , How are you doing
ME : GM , Thank you, i am doing gud ,how about you
VO: Gr8.
VO : Turned to my wife and asked MAM how are you doing

Question regarding PP hold off at Consulate
I have a question.. I am planning to go to Hyderabad Consulate, India.. Hope everything goes well.. I have got all required documents..but of course it all depends on luck to get the visa...
Just wanted to know.. in worst case.. if they hold off giving the visa and give 221g... is the consulate keeping the PP with them ?
Any suggestions are welcome..

I am currently in US and would like to know how the VO officers are reacting when we say that there is a vendor between Employer and Client. I have this situation and not sure how to answer this. Please post your experiences and thank you.

A big thank you to all the people who posted in this forum and helped everyone with their personal experience:
My appointment was today at 7:45 am and I took every piece of document they could have needed from me. You name it and I had the document but unfortunately for my interview the VO just asked for my passport and original I797. Here are all the questions I was asked:
1. Tell me about <my company name>
2. Highest qualification?
3. Any plans to get married in the next year?
4. Annual Salary?
Just FYI they return the original I797 back at the counter and just keep the passport. My interview was just for a minute or so and then he typed something in his computer and said your visa is approved and you will get your passport in 10 days.
