It was very fast, just 10mins. They take your pic, finger prints. Make sure whatever printout of DS-160 you take at that time should have a clear picture of yours. preferably color printout.
9th Nov - Visa appointment
My appointment was at around 8am. This is my second term of H1B, interview was very cool. The officer was very young. I went with a smiling face.
VO: Hello, how are you?
Me: Hello Sir, i am good how about you.
VO took my passport and stapled documents (ds-160, copy of I-797, token receipt)
Later for a minute he was talking with other officers and made me to wait for approx 2mins. I kept a smiling face throughout.
VO: Sorry for the delay
Me: No problem sir
VO: So, you studied in xx university in USA?
Me: yes sir I graduated in 2008
VO: What was your major?
ME: computer science sir
VO: How long have you been working with current employer?
Me: answered month/year
VO: What is your job role?
Me; Firmware development engineer
I think he didn't quite catch that
Me: It is sort of software development work on embedded platform
VO: What is your work location
ME: Sir, I work as a full time employee and our company's head quarters is in Milpitas, CA I work from the same location
VO.. Ok mam, your passport will reach you in 7 days
It was very cool. I unnecessarily took tension. He didn't see any document of mine. Be confident in your answers.

If you are a BEP employee, you may not have a login. In that case you can find the UID from your appointment letter. It will be mentioned in the page where the fee details are mentioned.

i tried to track my passport by dialing consulate and feed My UID. it is saying your docs are with counseler post?

Vo: GIve me your documents
Me : Gave all the documents but VO took only passport and BEP.
VO : So you work for ZZZ, Seeing my company tag
Me : Yes
VO : Which client do you work in YYYY state?
Me : Said i will work for YYYY client
Pause .. and he was some work on system for 10 -15 secs and didnt ask any question then i asked him a question :)
Me : How was your day

On 7th i went Chennai Consulate:
The question are as follows:
VO: How r u sir?
Me: I am Fine thank you. How r u ?
VO : I am Fine tank you.
VO: Can i see your Douments?
Me: Passed.
VO: Which company you are working for?
Me: Replied
VO: How many year of exp u have ?
Me: Replied
VO: For which client you are going ?
Me: Replied.
Thanks your visa is approve thats it..

Visa Interview
Today is my turn to blog the success story.....
Out appointment time is 11 AM but we went around 10 AM and the crowd was minimal.
Came inside the consulate by 10.30 after done all the preliminary check and done the following things
counter 1 - Verified the passport and DS 160 in the same counter for both of us
Next counter - Taken the finger prints by foreign lady (USA Facilitator)
Went to the interview building around 10.45 and the VO officer seems to be very young and very polite with the candidates.
Questions are as follows:
Whos ur employer?
Whats ur highest qualification?
Whos ur client?
How long you have been married?
arranged or love marriage?
and finally he said our visa is approved and we will be receive the passport within 7 working days....
We thanked and left from consulate. It's a very simple process and be confident while answering.
